I have 17000 on my gen3 and noticed today the paint is peeling on right front fender next to hood. I called the dealer who referred me to Toyota customer service. 800-331-4331. They told me it is not their problem because there is no recall on Super White paint on a Tacoma. They admitted that it is covered on the rest of the models.
I had the paint problem with my 2012 Camry and Toyota repainted all four fenders, I was so glad I was a Toyota guy, going on 35 years.
I read there was going to be a class action suit, or just a rumor?
Has anyone had any good news about this subject?
This may be the start of a bad paint job.

Talked to a guy in his 2017 while picking up some yard materials he showed me similar issues. Said Toyota basically told him they would do nothing for him. Seems the 2017's are most affected. Had I known about this when I got mine I would have opted for another color.

Do you have a long relationship with a particular Toyota dealer? The dealer may go to bat for you under the good will program. Mine did and I got roughly $3/$4k paid.

You may also want to wait and see if your paint peels on the rear doors and around gas tank door, as many of us have experienced. They will only do good will once. I had hood, both fenders, gas door, and rear door on driver’s side painted. One month later, same issue on rear passenger door. No help the second go round.

So many varying results, from no help to 100%. Save your receipts if you pay for anything, as Tacomas will eventually be covered.

Heyyyyy welcome to the club! Contact corporate, they need to get as many complaints as possible to hopefully start a recall.

    Same shit here

Was gonna sell it but now that it's been repainted all over the place nobody wants it

My advice is that as soon as you get it fixed sell sell sell sell and run like hell from any newer Tacomas
