Apparently I got a little too close with the car wash nozzle this evening and lifted the paint on my '11 TRD Sport.

Not sure if the grille has been repainted before and someone did a sub-par job or the paint on that grille is just weak. Same car wash I used on my '05 STi for good part of a decade and never had this kind of issue and Subaru paint is garbage to begin with. Regardless, is this a common problem? I plan on ordering some Silver Streak Mica touch-up paint asap as I don't want this thing to lose more chunks of paint.

    Thoughts?

I've never had an issue.... At least it won't rust!

    Good point hahah.

Got some touch-up paint ordered. Will do it tomorrow. Just hope it doesn't get worse.

Should be fine. Just make sure any loose paint is knocked off before you touch up.
