Looks nice Tyler. After wheeling with Bob and Brady this last weekend on the lava rock in Idaho it was clear how much little tires suck. Having a hellova hard time deciding what i'm going to do next. Not sure I want to go 35's cuz my new job has me commuting 50 miles per day :pout: The setup you just went with looks promising.

Ya, I was pretty torn with these or 35's then a customer stopped in with a set of these in the back of his truck, he put 40 miles on them and they were not a good fit for him. $850 for all 5 made up my mind for me and I didn't have to cut any more.

Nope. I have front, mid, and transfer skids (pelfrey), rear diff skid, sliders, cbi rear HC bumper. All skids and sliders have a few new scrapes but got thru just fine. Had to be spotted in a few of the gnar spots. Didn't go a few places brady and bob did because I dont have a front bumper yet :pout:

That trail is awesome tho, great challenges. I posted a bunch of the shots in the Idaho BS thread and I know Bob (nyco) is still holding on to some of me coming thru some good sections.

I was set on the 255's but a deal came up on 285's so I got them. They have been great IMO and am glad I didn't go with 255. I've seen them on a few trucks in person and to me they are too skinny for my liking.

    all good

I'll let you know how the mileage changes from the heavier 285's. I'm pulling a lot of weight and wind drag so it will never be great but a little more never hurts. I only get about 11 now, can squeak 13 on the highway at times.

That really is impressive mileage, you should be pretty pleaseed with that. I dont care too much since the shop is about a mile from the house but hunting season takes me a good ways from home every weekend so that adds up having to fill up every 200 miles

I drive like an old man, not sure why I get what I get, my old man has an 06 with nearly same setup, little lighter and no roof rack, he gets 18 all day long on 285's, all terrains tho.

Before regear I could get about 17-18mpg on the 255's.
