    Am I doing this right?
I'm selling my powder coated bed rack made by Pelfrybilt. Its for a 6' long bed and is 12" from the bedsides. It has accessory mounts on the driver side. There use to be a rotopax mounting plate but I have removed that for another application. Will fit any 2nd gen tacoma (2005-2015) that has the bed rails
The bed rack is located in Santa Barbara, CA. Please feel free to text me at 805-280-6154

I'm not expecting it to sell immediately. Might be around when you're ready!

I've done both. Let me know what you're main uses are and I could give you a couple of pros and cons I've experienced.

I'm getting ready to switch from a popup camper in the bed of the truck over to an RTT. Appreciate your input.

If you're doing RTT I'd definitely say bed rack. It keeps the tent lower to the ground and better aerodynamics. Its nicer having the tent lower while off roading as well.
I have a long bed and built a sleeping platform in the back. Great for stealth camping and dry storage.

    Which tent are you purchasing?

I'm looking at one of the hardshell James Baroud's. My truck is the long bed as well.

Oh wow that'll be excellent. That's a dream setup but I couldn't justify that right now. especially since I made a sleeping platform in the back on mine for $100

We have a popup camper in the truck now which is really nice, just looking to change things up. We had a platform in the canopy before that, and it worked really well.

With a hard top tent, you'll be doing fine with either a shell or a rack.
Here's my sweet n cheap setup.
