For those of you who have the pelfreybilt front bumper, can you access the winch at all? Like can you physically reach the cable/rope without taking off the whole bumper? And im talking about the winch drum, not just whatever comes out of the fairlead.

I can reach in from the two side holes or from the top wirh the hood opened to get to the lever or turn the drum by hand. It's tight, but you can get to the rope and such. Not much else you can do to the winch other than those.

What are you trying to do?

hey sorry for late post! yea I just took a winching course at the overland expo in arizona from the camel trophy guys, and they said #1 for a winch bumper is that you can access the rope, like if you need to do anything to get it unstuck ( if for some reason its stuck) or something like that, just so you can get your hands where the drum is
