I'm going to install my Pelfreybilt bumper later today. I have a sway bar relocation kit. Let's see how it goes, lol. Any knowledge before hand would help a bit though ^^

Super easy to install! Did mine yesterday in about 3 hours solo. No winch on the bumper but it was pretty easy to lift and place with just the rigid lights.

I did pull the head lights just to give myself a little room. The biggest pain was the aluminum support. Took some love to get that off.

What's with the cutting of that support shown in the pictures? Is it necessary? How'd you do it solo? on jack stands?

Not sure about cutting a support, on the 2012 it was not required. I just laid out the bumper in front of the truck on a drop cloth and then lifted it into position. Supporting a little weight on my knees when I aligned the 6 bolts. Once on I just kept pressure on and threaded the nuts on. Definitely not recommended!!! But it worked for me. I also had ratchet straps and eyelets in the garage just in case.

Haven't finished that part yet! Was hoping to hear from someone that had done it before. About to go tear it apart and try a couple of things now. Will let you know what I come up with.

Supports we're easier than they look. They bolt on between the frame and the sway bar relocate. I had to unbolt the bumper and take off the skid plate. On my truck they had 2 tabs to hang the skid plate on. I chopped those off and tightened the bumper back into place. Then I unbolted the sway bar on both sides, still leaving it attached at the wheels. Popped off the metal brace and then unbolted the sway bar relocate on one side and put the support in place and bolted it on loosely. I put the long bolt into the bumper and through the support, it goes in at a bit of an angle, and tightened it. I then tightened the 2 bolts for the relocate. I repeated the same for the other side and then bolted the sway bar on starting all 4 bolts before tightening them down. Skid plate back on and done! About and hour in total.

Thanks! Prefect explanation. I guess I'll cut off the tabs on my skid plate also. They touch my bumper.
