I figured it was haha, I would just really like to see a black one with that same configuration so I can get a good idea of what exactly I'd be purchasing! I've seen plenty of rigs with your black 3 hoop but a lot of the time they differ slightly with the hoop configuration, thanks!

Looking into buying a pelfreybilt rear bumper, can you still fit a spare tire under the truck with that bumper?

 

Do you know the difference in departure angle between the stock rear bumper, the Pelfreybilt Std Rear and the Pelfreybilt Hi-Clearance Rear?

 

Yes you can, up to 33" diameter

 

Main difference is losing the hitch from below the bumper and integrating into the bumper behind the license plate. the cuts about 5" off the bottom end, the bumper is slightly higher and tighter as well, call it ~ 6" gain in departure clearance, plus much tougher when it does drag. The high clearance options are appx the same at the very rear of the bumper, the main benefit is the additional clearance directly behind the wheel well and the additional protection the plate steel provides in that location. If you slam down on it you're not bending bedsides and replacing taillights like you would if you landed on the factory sheet metal in that same area.

 

Do you guys/can you guys fab a tow hitch that would sit right behind the stock bumper? I'm going to relocate the stock wiring harness, and would like to get rid of the stock hitch. I'm trying to keep the truck light as possible. TIA. @Socalduckslayer

Unfortunately we do not and are not taking on any custom projects.

The good news is that our standard rear with the integrated hitch behind the license plate only weighs 5# more than the stock bumper/hitch combo

 

Shoot us an email on the website, were releasing some pictures etc privately until the formal release on the front bumper in the next week or so. The sliders and standard rears are done and released, the high clearance rears are coming very soon as well

 

How much shorter is the time for bumpers if they aren't getting powder coated? Thinking about the standard rear and the aluminum front with one hoop. Unless you guys are selling any blems...
