This auction is going to cause so much butt hurt.

 

Sad reality check: an entity with zero interest in reselling this gear will win the auction, haul all the armor to a recycler, melt down all those beautiful bumpers, and move on to the next random money making opportunity.

 

Also in for a rear bumper and/or sliders!

 

Fact is someones going to get all this shit, turn it around and sell. But they're also going to have a lot of work in front of them to do that. And maybe they'll be cool about it and hook up some of the guys who got screwed over originally

 

No one in their right mind would do that. Scrap prices vs what you could get for the assembled armor, no way

 

There needs to be a save the bumpers movement.

 

You haven't been to a scrap yard lately have you? You barely recoup the gas $$.

If they want to make money (and why else would someone do this) they can't hook anyone up. There are so many people that got screwed there would be no fair way to do it. Or at least a fair way percieved by all.

Question to you folks that have spoken with the auction company.....Who is the seller? Hopefully the bank that holds filings on materials/inventory.

Nobody should profit from this. Why don’t we all chip in and buy it then raffle items off to members who got scammed?
Might be complicated but I would chip in some $

 

I wasn't a Tacoma owner when everything went down with this company. Certainly sucks for those who were ripped off but I can't see, in this world, where people would come together to try to right the wrongs. Not saying it's not a good idea, just probably not realistic.

If the auction winner knows the situation, perhaps they should at least give those who can prove they were scammed first dibs. If not, its every man for himself.

 

I wish I had the money to buy this. I've been wanting a front bumper for a long time! I'd do the same thing on here. Raffle to people that got screwed and sell the rest at their normal prices on here.
