I'm looking for some subtle driving lights. My goal is something mounting in place of the fog lights, using aspheric optics to give me a crazy-tight beam - perhaps 2 degrees is too broad.

Has anybody built something like this?

First, you can put whatever you want

second, why put a driving beam in a fog hole
It’s there for fog. To be low to the ground in the fog.

driving beams are not placed there. Driving beams are placed higher, to throw light out. High beams are driving beams and can be upgraded.

you can put driving beams in the lower grill, main grill, steel bumper, roof rack, ditch brackets

fog hole seems about the worst place to put a driving beam

you would also no longer have useful fog lights.

and looks. Function > form but at the end of the day many of the above locations will likely look better.

I believe according to the big lighting thread, experts recommend the first light upgrade being better fogs. Such as to yellow DD MAX

pretty sure ARB also sells driving lights (a reputable company) and they don’t put them in fog holes.

    rally cars might not either.
