My friend is diehard lifelong Ford truck guy. He currently owns the following vehicles...

    1974 Ford F-100
    1985 Ford F250
    1988 Ford F250
    2004 Lincoln Town Car
    2013 Ford Explorer XLT

He loves his FoMoCo fleet, but thinks that the new Broncos are junk; I personally think that they look cool, but I think the problem is these goddamn lower-displacement turbocharged engines. I've NEVER trusted them, and I think that a large displacement naturally-aspirated V8 (or even a V6) would be a better choice for the Bronco! They should do a 5.0L Coyote/6-speed like in the Mustang...

Ford pays out the most for warranty and Service bulletins- recalls Ford is leading the path forward with the latter!

Yeah, but from what? Motor, trans, brakes, or just computer meltdowns? Really haven't heard that much about the 2.7s failing like they did early.

I just got a 3.0 steering rack for my Bronco. Have to get it bench programmed with a fake VIN before I can install it. I'm upgrading the steering, as well as the axles/gears before I go to 37s.

    @shakerhood

This is the Bronco in question...

My girlfriend has lived here for more than two months and I'm literally there everyday; I don't know how many people live in the house across the street, but someone living across the street didn't recognize me. I was standing in my girlfriend's landlady's front yard, taking pics of a vehicle parked on a public street, and someone thought that was suspicious...

Yeah, and I guarantee you that the actual owner would be flattered that I was taking pictures; I absolutely HATE third party interlopers!

Since this story indirectly involves a Ford Bronco (well, a Bronco II), I'll share it here.

Almost every year from 2008 to 2018, my mom's side of the family would rent a large house for the family reunion. We did not do this in 2009, 2010, 2014, or 2019 and we did not do it in 2020 or 2021 due to COVID.

So in June 2011, we rented a house in Virginia Beach that was directly on the beach. People who weren't renting could park on the street and use the public beach, and one day I came outside to find a 1988ish Bronco II Eddie Bauer parked outside the rental house; I took a few pictures of it without incident.

Later that same day, I happened to notice that the owners had come back and were getting ready to leave; I forget whether I was in the house or coming back from a walk when I saw them, but based on what transpired, I'd guess it was the second one.

So, I approached the couple and started asking them about their Bronco II. They were friendly enough, but then we parted ways and I headed across the yard to the rental house; I was about to open the front door when one of the Bronco II owners asked me
    "Can we help you?"

Dumbfounded, I looked back at them and finally said "My family is renting this house" before going inside without another word; 12 years later, I still don't know what was up with them, but they obviously thought that I was entering a random house without permission... o_O
