I despise VW's. Absolute trash on wheels. Especially that era.

I used to work at a shop that specialized in them and couldnt believe that literally everything on the vehicle was common. Nothing was impervious to failure.

Except the VR6. God tier engine.

 

What do you mean that everything on the vehicle was common?

 

If you pointed at something, I've changed it on a Mk3/Mk4 Golf/Jetta

 

Im a euro lover though sorry, see that its a euro tag.

I'm a big BMW fan and love any quirky euro car. I just get PTSD with VW's.

 

I've heard that these cars are junk, but it's not that often that you see a stick shift Passat wagon of any year; I go for uniqueness when looking for 4-wheeled photography subjects!

 

They have unique 4WD systems if I recall, I never got to see one of these up close.

The VWs I forgive always is the Scirocco and the Corrodo, the rest can rot lol.

 

My 88 Golf was a really good car, lost it in a hit and run accident just as I was about to turn 200K Miles.

 

I remember dusting some fool in his new Corrado with my old Camaro..giggle

1993 Volvo 240 Classic, with 5 speeds, 3 pedals, and a limited-slip rear differential!

Only 150K miles on it too! Also noteworthy is that Volvo was one of the first manufacturers to use R134a across the board in the 1993 model year; Nissan also started using R134a in 1993, but the majority of car companies still used R-12...

Traded in my Corolla for an E46. Thing was cherry and the dude was in a hurry to sell. Got it for $2500 and all it needs is a driveshaft support bearing and a power steering pump. Interior is mint, AWD works great, trans shifts snappy, stereo even bumps still. Hell the AC fucks harder than Ron Jeremy on Cialis.

 

Is it a stick shift?!?!

 

Nah I wish but I wasn't gonna turn down the deal over that. These cars are easy to swap if I find a good wrecked manual car to cannibalize.

 

What year?

 

2002, 1st visual overhaul.

 

Not my first rodeo haha. My 135i was all about the expensive weird broken shit. And an unfixable trans leak.
