What is funny is that I helped my buddy do plugs on his old Nissan.
It was a 4 cylinder. He had 8 plugs out gapping them, that was my first experience with 2 plugs per cylinder.
I looked at him kind of crazy at first.

The fn distributor cap wasn’t cheap, either.

I saw this in Philly almost a week ago, and I knew it was a JDM Honda, but I had no idea what it was as I'd never seen one before; I posted the pics in a couple Facebook groups I'm in, and was told that it is a Honda Stepwgnnd based on my research it appears to be a 1996-1998 model. This means that it was brought stateside fairly recently under the 25-year loophole...

I thought that this was the model at first, but it's actually the name of some JDM accessory manufacturer...

    I know...

Have you ever noticed how Japanese phrases look a lot less cool when translated directly to English...?

"For your white cruising" o_O

I'm learning Japanese, can actually speak a bit, but yeah it translates like shit and they even have a separate character system for non native words and phrases to help mitigate that a bit.

That's awesome! I know how to say "Rolls-Royce" in Cantonese (similar but different in Mandarin), but that's about it as far as Asian languages...

Yeah it's fun, I still want to travel there sometime this decade. Most native Japanese is expressed in hiragana but stuff that derives from other languages especially latin based ones are often expresses in katakana (the writing you often see on Toyotas) and then of course there is kanji, yeah they have three character systems to learn... and you can use them together in certain situations... never tripped me up, no sir, not one bit :anonymous:

    You know they aren’t wrong.
As a white guy, I can say that the only “people” paying to have that imported is a white guy.

Which has me questioning my own race.
Because I wouldn’t spend a dime to have that imported. :anonymous:

I know they sold the Samurai in the USA until like 1995, but this is the newest confirmed example that I've ever seen in person; 1994 Suzuki Samurai JL!
