    Stuff, things,
    People cut the bumper because of safety check issues so they steal yours to pass it off as their own. A lot people use the bracket to avoid that.

    So they cut their bumper because they think it looks cooler, and then pass yours off as their own at safety inspection? Was your bumper actually stolen?!?!

    Stuff, things,
    Nope they cut the bumper to steal your sticker. They take your sticker put in on their vehicle to make it look like their vehicle passed safety. Leaving you with a hole in your bumper. Even though it has your vin and license plate number on the sticker.

    This is why I razor blade the heck out of my reg stickers. Not that'd itd stop anyone from cutting a hole though. That sucks

    Yea the bumper cut has happened to a few people I know. Acetone takes off the print so they erase it and just tell the cop that the safety must have not been properly but in the computer and they left the paper work at home. Happens all the time all the cops can do is give them a fix it ticket. But it’s mostly for when they are parked on the street the don’t get a ticket just from the look and see cops. They also take registration stickers too. I like NY’s the best safety and registration sticker is on lower driver side inside windshield

    That's Texas too. Leaves a mess once you replace it though...

    Same with Pennsylvania, at least with the inspection stickers. Pennsylvania did away with registration stickers in 2017, and the registration is kept in the glovebox along with proof of insurance.

    I believe I will be hitting 92,000 miles on or before February 2nd, 2019! It will be time for my truck's first oil change in about 8,000 miles and more than six months!

    @El Duderino

    Did I ever tell you about the time I pulled up to a red light blasting "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake? It was sometime in the summer, and one of those beautiful evenings where it was warm, but not brutally hot. I had the windows down, and there were two Marines in their full dress uniforms waiting to cross the street. Both Marines smiled, and one of them started dancing to my stereo!

    Took my truck on a small bump eaten up trail and she did it great. Didn’t have to slow down for any of the bumps
