    I have a feeling someone already grabbed it. Not ten minutes after I took it for a quick jaunt around the parking lot, a guy from Subaru was coming to get it and bring it back to his dealership so somebody could look at it! The truck has not even been detailed for the used car lot yet!

    I looked at 2 dirty tacos that were already sold when I got mine. Asked "what about that one that looks like it was just traded in" answer was "somebody saw it before you" lol

    Manual windows? Pass

    Would have had like an 18k ish sticker. 14 seems a bit pricey for a 7 year old ride. I like it

    Stereo would be easy to swap

    If mine got totaled, I'd just swap all of the stereo stuff from it into this truck! Also, my 5-lugger had a sticker of over $17K in September 2009!

    I had just paid the 2012 off and this asshat was texting his Girlfriend while driving his Wife’s car and T boned me and set off all my air bags. Ins company wrote me a fat check and I paid for my 2013 with it and had some $$ left over.

    @eon_blue

    In about 2012, the dealership where my dad bought my current '10 RC 5-lug was interested in buying it back since used vehicles were really hot at the time. They would have given us at least what he'd paid for it. At the same time, my uncle had a red 2002 access cab PreRunner SR5 2.7L/auto with super low miles that he was looking to get rid of. We came very close to selling the 2nd Gen and buying that 1st Gen!

    Pretty much, the car he hit me with was in his Wife's name and She refused to sigh off on the accident until I threatened to sue her and her cheating husband :thumbsup:

    As much as I love 1st gens, the 2.7l 1st gens with auto trans arent that great...I mean they're reliable and great looking trucks, but the 2.7 paired with the autos of that time was an absolute dog.

    2.7l with the 5spd manual is another story though. Still a dog but way more fun to drive lol

    Keep the truck that your dad bought new and gave to you. You'll regret getting rid of it as soon as it's gone.

    I finally learned how to drive stick in my uncle’s 1991 Toyota pickup at the age of 25. I’ve also driven another uncle’s 1971 VW Bus. I love driving stick and think it’s a lot of fun.

    However, in the overpopulated Philly suburbs I call home, having a stick shift as a daily driver would get tiresome after a while. As much as I’d love to have a manual Tacoma, my slushbox is much more tolerable given where I presently live!
