Already did and couldn’t find any nails or anything...

Some twatwaffle lost their load in the middle of a 4-way intersection a couple weeks ago and didn’t bother to clean up after themselves. That load was a glass object of some sort. I unfortunately ran over it with my left rear tire...

    No damage!

You usually have to drive a few miles before the light goes out.

iDatalink even has a manifold sensor input:

Yes its from the movie, but if I had iDatalink, I'd expect it to indicate Danger to Manifold if the manifold is in danger.

Kinda hard to read them @ 70 mph. TPMS sensors were never intended to replace an air gauge. They are intended to warn you in the event of a sudden tire deflation at speed. Which is exactly what mine have done twice, possibly preventing a bad wreck. Twice since buying my truck I've hit some type of debris on the road that punctured a large hole in the tire while driving at 70 mph. Both times I was able to get the truck to the shoulder of the road and get it stopped before it was completely flat because the light came on. Without TPMS I'd have had a tire come apart at 70. Don't want to think about that. And that sort of thing happened a lot back in the olden days.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but the factory sensors in my 12 year old truck are still working. But when they go bad new ones can be found on the internet for as little as $50/4 of them. My local tire store charges $40 to break down the tires and install a new set. Spending less than $100 every 10-12 years is pretty cheap insurance.

Usually TPMS just lets me know what I already knew. That it has gotten very cold outside.

I have run over stuff in vehicles without TPMS and could tell when a tire was going down....like a razor blade in my ‘00 Mustang. o_O

Been at least 4 years without the sensors. I just check my tire pressure like I've always done.

Hey guys I'm just jumping in the middle of this topic. If you hit that button and puts it in relearn mode. I agree you should never buy sensors from a dealer you can go to your local Costco have everything at cost. I've even seen some good stuff on RockAuto. Maybe you could

Also, THIS is why I will never get my tires installed at a wholesale club again!
