    Political discussion is surprisingly allowed on the autism forum in a dedicated section! People can publicly discuss their political beliefs and even say who they voted for (among other things). They can say they don't like a particular politician. However, people of differing political views are not allowed insult each other, and certain words and insults are explicitly prohibited. Obviously, violating these rules can you banned even if you didn't realize something violated the rules, like what happened to me on here a few days ago...

    @El Duderino
    @Taco critter

    On my very first day on the autism forum, I encountered a perfect example of someone on the spectrum not thinking before they said something.

    What I specifically said in response to something that someone had said to me (or about me; I forget) was "Do you think that's an Aspergers thing or a Charlie thing?"

    Everyone on here knows that my name is Charlie! Unfortunately, on the autism forum, your name doesn't show up on your personal info even if you want it to. This guy I was talking was also named Charlie, apparently. He thought I knew his name (newsflash; I did not) and had purposely publicly revealed it to antagonize him or some BS like that. Apparently, he did not want his name publicly revealed on the forum. Again, I did not know his name was also Charlie! He became so angered by this that a moderator had to intervene! What's ironic is that he revealed his own name! 99% of people reading the post would have realized I was referring to myself and nobody would have no his name, so this is 100% on him!

    The verdict? Online forums tend to hold the record for having the most idiots per capita!

    Two-in-one Halloween/car story...

    In 2000, my parents bought me one of those realistic arms that you stick in a door to make it look like someone's arm is actually stuck there. In '03, my dad planned to buy my Grandma's '87 Mercedes 300E that she'd owned since new. He drove it up from Florida in August (with no working A/C), but he didn't actually give her any money or transfer the title. My Grandma had just bought a brand new Lexus RX300 that the previous year, and just wanted my dad to exercise the car (it had been sitting at her house in Florida for over a year by then) until she decided what she wanted to do with it. The car ended up having quite a few problems brought on by the fact that it sat for so long, none of which my financially stingy father had wanted to deal with, and we ended up selling it for my grandmother (to the maintenance guy at my high school for $2,500). I got 20% of the proceeds!

    However, in either Halloween 2003 or 2004, I got my dad to back the old Benz into our driveway with the front end facing the street. I stuck the aforementioned fake arm in the radiator support and shut the hood, making it appear as though someone had become trapped while working on the engine. At one point, I looked out the front window and saw a parent taking a picture of my handiwork with his Kodak digital camera! I was very flattered.

    When my parents bought me the arm in 2000, our house in Oak Harbor (a 4-bedroom rancher) had a double front door. These were high-quality solid wood front doors. However, we only opened the one door and used the secondary one for bringing large items into the house. As such, one of the doors (I forget which one) stayed closed. In 2000 and 2001, I stuck the arm in the door the we did not open. Our house in Virginia did not have a double front door, so on Halloween in 2002 I stuck the fake arm in the sliding door of our 2000 GMC Safari conversion van. I do not remember anybody taking pictures, but I do remember at least one kid walking up to the van and touching the hand to see if it was real...

    In 2003 and 2004 I stuck it under the hood of the Mercedes. The Mercedes was sold in May 2005, and from then until 2015 I stuck it under the hood of whatever car we had. From 2009 onward, I stuck it under the hood of the Tacoma. In 2015, I was hit by a drunk driver two or three days before Halloween. I stuck the arm under the hood of my truck and drove around Doylestown with it sticking out. In attempt to both vent my anger and be funny, I would point at the $2,200 in damage to my truck, then at the arm, and tell people that it was the arm of the guy who hit my truck while driving drunk!

    I can't believe it's been almost four years since this went down!

    Don't drive drunk, folks! If you have the misfortune of hitting my truck, you'll wish you'd just gotten arrested for DUI when I get through with you!

    I saw Frozen in theaters when it first came out (albeit with my female cousin), and I will not lie...

    I will shamelessly admit that I absolutely loved it! Now, I kinda wanna see Frozen II! Go ahead, laugh!

    I got the oil changed on Friday, and I plan on doing it every 7,500 miles from here on out. Not 5K because it's full synthetic, and not 10K because I'm too paranoid. I've gotten more than 106K trouble-free out of my Tacoma, and I'm saving up for a house so I'd really rather keep my Tacoma for as long as it is economically feasible to do so. I might buy my uncle's low-mileage 2017 AC 2WD TRD Sport in a few years, but only if I have enough to pay cash.

    So right now, I'm pretty pissed because it's raining right now, and I just got all of these awesome new Halloween decorations at a steep discount that I'm probably not gonna get to use this year because it's supposed to rain on Halloween!
