    @shakerhood

I was offered a BJ in the Tacoma once...

Too bad that (A) I didn't actually have the Tacoma there at the bar with me, and (B) the woman's boyfriend was also there!

My dad hit a deer last night in his brand new 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Wasn’t much damage though, he only clipped her rear end

I hit a deer with my truck six years ago...

I bumped the deer; Knocked deer on its side and no damage to the truck. Deer got up and ran off into the woods.

Today was brutal. I80 was closed for a long time today, I spent the last 40miles of my drive sliding on sheets of ice. I’m stuck in Rawlins Wyoming in a best western. Had to sleep in my 4runner with my dog for a few hours. 9364736E-ED8B-45C7-B226-7F00B1058E5D.jpg

I’ve had to to unwatch a couple of Build/BS threads because I got sick of getting inundated with notifications every time half of TW said good morning to the creator of the thread!

It’s fine when they say good morning on YOUR thread, but with other peoples’ threads, it’s like when you people keep commenting on a post you made days earlier.

And I’m friends with my friend’s brother on Facebook, a guy in his fifties. One day I made an usually large number of posts on Facebook (a combination of memes, articles, and car pictures). He insisted on sharing and resharing every single one of them, which I got notifications about; It came across as stalkerish, and I actually had words with him about it. Sharing one or two posts in a day is one thing, but more than six?!?!

And then there’s the ex-girlfriend who I didn’t so much break up with as I just stopped seeing without warning because she turned out to be a bit looney; It took months before she got the message and stopped trying to contact me, but she still likes my Facebook posts.

I joined Facebook back in 2008 because everyone else I knew was on it. Now I only keep it around because so many of my friends are still on it, but mostly because I have almost 12 years worth or irreplaceable photos on there that are no longer backed up.

This is the most awkward situation I’ve ever been in...

She lives so close to me that I can see her house from my culdesac. I actually defriended her on Facebook a couple days after severing ties, and within a couple hours she sent me a new friend request (my mom said I should just remain friends with her to keep the peace so I did).

This girl wanted to keep the fact that we’re dating a secret from her parents indefinitely, but was not shy about telling me in a text that she in no uncertain terms wanted me to bang her brains out.

Despite wanting to have sex, this same girl starting saying that I’d forced her to kiss me on the first date, and something didn’t sit right with me so I broke it off.

And let’s not forget that I had the misfortune of having to drive past her house every time I came home...

One day, I came home and she was in the driveway. I did not make eye contact. I pulled into my driveway, and went over to talk with the neighbors. Within five minutes, here comes my ex walking into the culdesac with both parents.

My neighbor, who is the one who set us up and later apologized for it, said not to worry.

I immediately head for my front door, and she actually stops in front of my house and asks in a whiny voice “When are we gonna hang out?!?!” I said “I don’t know.” About the same time, her parents were about two houses down and told her to “Come on.” I haven’t talked to her since.

    Also...

    • She does not have a driver’s license.
    • She does not have a job.
    • She does not have a college degree nor has she ever been to college.
Three of the most undesirable traits in a woman, at least in my opinion (I have a license, a job, and a college degree, so perhaps I’m a bit biased?).

I prefer my women to have at least two of those three items.

One of my best friends is gay. He has a license, a car, and a job, but his last boyfriend did not have a license. However, his boyfriend did have a college degree and a very good job at a law firm. The only reason he didn’t have a license at 35 was because he lived in the city most of his life and didn’t need a car!
