The fact that the 2019 tacoma still has drums makes me sad.

    X2!

The fact that the base models don't have intermittent wipers makes me even sadder! Though adding intermittent wipers is a hell of a lot easier than adding rear disc brakes (I finally upgraded my wipers in 2016)!

So glad this axle thing worked out!!

Lots of comments in this thread about cheap Chinese parts. People don't realize that over 2.5 BILLION dollars worth of "OEM" parts are imported into the US from China by US based auto manufactures annually. The Chinese do make some junk. They also make some of the best quality components in the world for everything from tech to axle shafts. The key is the relationship with that supplier. If you tell them to make the cheapest possible parts, so you can make the most profit, they can sure do that. If you give them specific specifications and press them to meet those specs, they can sure do that too. One thing is for sure. If they quit sending us parts, not a single thing in this country would keep running for long.

OP, in many instances, those noisy fans are in need of nothing more than lubrication. There is at least one detailed thread about how to do that if you have any interest. Maybe you can search it up if your Fu is strong!

Fu (character) (福), meaning "fortune", "good luck", "blessing" or "happiness" in Chinese.

I'm generally not a Mitsubishi fan, but a few people I know who have this generation of Outlander love them...

But at the end of the day.. an outlander? That’s a daily that screams “yes I’ll hold one until the swelling goes down”

    1991 Toyota pickup
    1997 T4R 5-speed
    2003 Tacoma RC 4x4
    2004 Toyota Tacoma "Mall Crawler"
    And now the Outlander

    My Tacoma wasn't cash...

My dad put $2,000 down and financed the rest at 0.9% APR; It's been paid off since 2012.
