    Here's something else I'd like to discuss...

    Vacuum cleaners!

    My dad has an Oreck XL upright that he bought new in 1988 or 1989. He just spent sixty bucks getting the thing refurbished at a place called All About Vacuums. That vacuum will last another thirty or forty years easily! New Orecks are Orecks in name only; Founder David Oreck apparently sold the company, and the new Orecks looks nothing like the Oreck we have. The guy at All About Vacuums said they are junk, especially compared to our late eighties model. Dyson vacuums are junk, as all bagless vacuums are. All About Vacuums services all brands, including Dyson, but exclusively sells brands like Riccar, Sebo, and Simplicity (at least new).

    We have had a few Oreck vacuums at work. They do pretty good in an industrial setting.

    These are the ones I have never heard of:
    Riccar, Sebo, and Simplicity


    We have a Dyson.

    This is the 1982 Ford Transit driven by Horace and Jasper in the 1996 live-action version of 101 Dalmatians!

    It can be seen on one of the backlot tours at Disney World, and has probably been sitting for about two decades; These pictures were supposedly taken in September 2015, and as you can see all those years in the brutal Florida weather have not been kind to it; In my opinion, it is still restorable though, and getting it titled and back on the road probably would not be hard (especially in Florida)...
