The Internet Movie Car Database lists Georges' yellow car as a Mercer Model 35 Raceabout, for some reason as a 1913 model (the movie takes place in 1910)...

Luckily, IMCDb has good pictures of the vehicles in Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure (the 2001 direct-to-video sequel), which means I don't have to sit through the movie!

Here is the dog catcher's Ford Model T (in the original, it was a horse-drawn wagon which got wrecked at the end); The original takes place in 1909-1910, and the sequel takes place in 1911)...

I have some $50 Bissell bagless for the house, a 1 gallon Shop-Vac brand Shop Vac for the car, truck, and small jobs, and a large Craftsman Shop Vac for big stuff and the garage.

One thing that's got me worried is ending up living with my parents forever...

So many of the autistic people I know from both school and the Coffeehouse are working dead-end jobs, often part-time, and still living with their parents. One of them is a guy I've known since 2008. He is incredibly bright and very nice, but he works part-time at a CVS Pharmacy. He regularly complains about he's not making enough money, and how they're not giving him enough hours; He also bitches about how shitty the job is (I worked at CVS from 2006 to 2008 so I know exactly where he's coming from). I've told him he should get a better job or at least switch to full time; He tells me he thinks that full-time would be too stressful. It's a real catch-22. This same guy does have a new car that he bought with his own money, but like me he still lives with his parents.

Of my four closest male friends with Aspergers, only one of us has a full-time job. The guy with the full-time job is also the only one who has his own place and has ever purchased a vehicle with his own money.

Another one of those just recently FINALLY got his driver's license almost three months ago, and words cannot describe how proud we are of him. He has a part-time job and a substantial amount of money saved up.

Then, there's the guy I'm always complaining about; The one who can become very belligerent if you criticize certain habits of his (his mediocre driving skills despite the fact that he's had his license since 2008, for example). He has never had a full-time job, or even a steady part-time job. Recently, he has become "that guy"...

Only 50% of Aspies get driver's licenses...

There are plenty of high-functioning people out there with Aspergers and other forms of autism who lead very productive and successful lives despite not every learning how to drive or obtaining a driver's license. I know a couple of people in their 30s who never obtained a license because they live in the city and don't plan on leaving. There's nothing wrong with that!

The Aspies I have a hard time dealing with are the ones who live with their parents their whole lives and work dead-end jobs at grocery stores, and the most exciting time in their life is when a new game console comes out. When I was 18-19 years old, I was on my way to becoming an unlicensed recluse who only lived for playing video games. I pulled myself out of that rut, largely due to the Coffeehouse and the people I met there, and got my license by the time I was 22 (as I said above, one of my Aspie friends just recently got his license at the age of 30).

One girl from the Coffeehouse was very gassy...

I would be the biggest liar in the world if I told you I didn't find just about everything having to do with farting absolutely hilarious. I love fart jokes, and flatulence humor in general.

However, this girl would fart whenever and wherever she felt like it. Most of the time, she would make no attempt to hide it; She would just lift her leg and fart, regardless of who was around. I was in a special ed class with this girl prior to the Coffeehouse, and she would pass gas in mixed company back then too. Everyone complained about it, and the teacher would make her stop, but she'd be back to her old ways a couple days later.

I find it downright hilarious when an attractive woman farts. Attractive women have farted in front of me before, mostly by accident; The myth that women don't fart is utter bullshit. My girl cousins and I used to burp and fart in front of each other all the time well into our teens!

However, this girl from my Coffeehouse days was ugly, and she always forced 'em out. It was disgusting!

Also, I've set it before and I'll say it again...

What made the Coffeehouse so appealing in it's heyday was that only a certain demographic of autistic young adult was allowed in; Specifically, you had to have an official diagnosis Aspergers or PDD-NOS. Furthermore, new members would not be allowed in it if it was felt that their parents would just be using the Coffeehouse as a babysitting service to offload their kid for a few hours a week. Last month, I believe, I mentioned a guy who spent all of his time by himself in downstairs room. One of the Coffeehouse laptops started having all sorts of problems, and one of the tech-savvy members looks up the browser/search history, which turned up a bunch of lesbian porn. Everyone is 99% sure this member was spending so much time by himself to look up porn on the the laptop; This is one of the guys who I don't think belonged at the Coffeehouse, due to his lack of social skills...

After the new service provider took over in 2010, they totally got rid of the vetting process; They started letting in members who were much lower-functioning than me and my friends, and/or who had several emotional and psychological problems. There was a huge divide between the high-functioning veteran members like myself, and the newer lower-functioning members who'd been brought in after we moved to a new location.

If I had my own boat, I'd probably name it after a certain 1989 Great White song...
