I highly doubt that lol. I don’t think any of your higher ups have kicked you in the chest for asking a question.

Definitely not, though I don't think my dad got kicked in the chest during boot camp when he joined the Navy, either.

My friend Doug who was a Marine said he got kicked around a bit when he was at boot camp...

I agree with some things but I still like regular cabs. They are low cost and very good for towing, and I think they look pretty good.

Better than a NORDYNE in my opinion; At least Goodmans have a lifetime compressor warranty for as long as the original purchaser owns the house!

Earlier today, I was talking about one of my favorite childhood cartoons; That would be Disney's Recess. In 2001, a feature-length movie was released. The movie was rated G; Translation: Kid's movie!

The movie was released in theaters in February 2001, and on video and DVD in August 2001. We were living in Oak Harbor, Washington at the time. Almost as soon as it came out, I rented it on VHS from the local Blockbuster (remember those?). I invited two of my friends (who were brothers by adoption) over to watch it.

I found out once they'd gotten to my house that their parents didn't want them watching it because, and I quote, "The movie prominently featured children talking back to adults." I was I was joking, but I am not! I say again that this was a G-rated movie based on a Disney cartoon TV show! My mom even thought it was ludicrous! It is worth noting that these are the same friends whose adoptive parents wouldn't let them watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone because of their religious beliefs!

    Bro, everybody hated Randall!

There was an hour-long movie where the gang remembered their kindergarten years. You may remember the really big guy named Mikey who was portrayed as a gentle giant. In Kindergarten, before Randall was the school snitch, he made Mikey think that everybody thought he was fat and made fun of him for his weight. At the same time, he manipulated all of the other kindergarteners think Mikey was a bully and that he was protecting them from his wrath.

Randall is nothing more than a master manipulator!

So, there was this special needs kid who used to hang around with our group. I didn’t particularly care for him because he was chronically a grouch, and the only time I associated with him was when I hung out with our mutual friends. I ended up cutting ties with those mutual friends, so I don’t have to see him again.

One time, maybe eight years ago, a bunch of went to a restaurant (I believe it was Miller’s Ale House, but I could be wrong). This special needs kid got absolutely hammered, and ended up riding home with my and my other friend in that friend’s Maxima.

I was in the backseat of the Maxima with this kid, and he thinks it would be funny to get all touchy-feely with me and pretend he’s a gay guy hitting on me or something; Sober, this guy was weird! Drunk? Forget about it!

Fortunately, I was bigger than him and hadn’t that much to drink. All I had to do was extend my arm and push against the car door to keep him at bay; This part was rather amusing. Even while forcibly held against the door, he kept reaching for me like an octopus.

I asked my friend, who was driving, for help. He looked in the rear view mirror with a homicidal glare on his face and ordered the drunk special needs kid to stop, and luckily he did or else he would have gotten an ass-kicking from me right there in the backseat!

Telling this story reminded me of a bizarre encounter, at a carnival in the parking lot of the local catholic church...

This was probably 2012 or 2013, and my best friend Mike and I were waiting in line for one the rides. All of a sudden, this dweeb of maybe 17 or 18 at the oldest comes up to me, and starts bumping me with his waist/thigh/buttock...

While doing this, he kept chanting something like “Girls, come on and show the boys your tits!”

This kid was at least six years younger than me, and I’d never seen him in my life. I gave him a “touch me again if you wish to see the inside of an ambulance this evening” look and said “Who the hell are you?!?!”

He rhetorically asked “Who the hell are you?!?!” and bolted into the crowd, never to be seen again...

I told my mom this story upon getting home that night, and she believed he was on drugs.

This happened at the same carnival, possibly the same year of my encounter with the drunk/high teenager...

I did not personally witness this, and I only know about it because my friend Tom who is a member of that church and volunteers there (including helping run the annual carnival) saw it...

Apparently, a boy of middle school age propositioned a girl in her late teens to show him her boobs for ten bucks. The boy and the girl did not know each other. The girl responded by punching the boy in the face, knocking him out cold, and walking away with her girlfriends like it was no big deal!

My friend Tim approached this girl after witnessing the knockout punch, and applauded her for what she’d done. If this had happened at the bar where I worked, I’d have bought the girl a drink!

The reason I’m opting to move all these into this thread is because the other threads would probably gather metaphorical dust and never get read again; With then merged, everything about my truck is in one convenient location!
