Volume on the factory stereo in my company 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan goes up to 38 and sounds weak; Aftermarket stereo in my Taco becomes unbearable at volume 15-20 with certain songs!

 

My boss loves satellite radio and has it set up in all company vehicles, so I’m not complaining about that! This is the radio in the 2018 Grand Caravan...

 

My biggest grievance with the radio in the ‘18 Grand Caravan is that while the USB port will charge smartphones and music players, it will not recognize iPods and this is useless for playing music!

 

While it is true that being a MOPAR product comes with it’s own set of problems, I think that factory sound systems in most vehicles (regardless of vehicle manufacturer) generally suck.

The Bose system in my dad’s 2018 GMC Yukon SLT 4x4 is good, but it cannot hold a candle to what I’ve got in my Tacoma!

My uncle had a Dodge D50 (pretty much the same thing) in the 1980s. He bought a do-it-yourself convertible kit and turned this truck into something similar to a 1989 Dodge Dakota convertible. Unfortunately, the truck leaked like crazy after he did the conversion and he ended up selling it for this reason...

 

The Mirage was built for two things; As a first car for new teen drivers, and as basic transportation for people who can't afford much else, but insist on having a new car instead of a decent used car...

I've read that the Mirage never lets you forget what you're driving; A miserable underpowered econobox!

 

This is an example of a Mitsubishi vehicle that I actually like and wouldn't mind owning!

 

I saw one those electric or hybrid plug in Outlanders. I guess Mitsu's focus is going to be on EVs. I was suprised they are still producing vehicles.

 

I'm pretty sure that all of their serious revenue in America comes from commercial vehicles. Then, there's Mitsubishi Electric, which makes the Mr. Slim line of ductless mini-split air-conditioners and heat pumps.
