That's not my dad's then; He is sorta wishing he got the XL after our last family vacation, with all the luggage we had to cram in there!

Maybe you should trade in the T4R?

I'd say my dad's Yukon is the same way! Besides, finding that color combo (blue with a black interior) seems to have been a one-in-a-million thing!

My dad thought he wanted a beige interior, but decided he didn't like the color after seeing it in person; He did not want black with a black interior or white with a black interior (I talked him out of getting a white vehicle because my mom's Nissan is white).

Hopefully he gets you squared away, I would still try a different brand of brake shoes.

The front seats in my dad's Yukon are heated and air-conditioned, the steering wheel is heated, and the rear seats are heated!

I used to brake check tailgaters and aggressive drivers, but then I realized how dangerous it could be; Yesterday, I was running late for a doctor’s appointment and was in a situation where someone was going to slow in both the left lane and the right lane!

There was a shitty white sedan going way to slow in the left lane and late model burgundy Volvo taking up the right lane. Instead of speeding up, the Volvo slowed down until I got way too close and then abruptly slammed on the brakes...

Assholes like the guy in the Volvo are why I have a dashcam, because I’ve seen dash videos where the brake-checker took 100% of the blame for causing an accident. The asshole also had a car seat in the Volvo (though luckily no baby; Quadruple shame on him if he did what he did with a kid in the car). I gave laid on the horn and gave him a dirty look as I passed him at the next intersection...

Moral of the story: I see people tailgate all the time and nothing happens; It’s more of a bad idea to tailgate because you don’t know if the person driving the vehicle in front of you is either having a bad day and/or a total psycho.

Aside from a heater (obviously) that can pop a bag of Orville Redenbacher’s on a it’s highest setting, my truck doesn’t have heated anything!

Also, I think car accidents (and road rage) are so prevalent in my area because this area is becoming so overpopulated. Where there used to be beautiful open farmland, Toll Brothers is throwing up these subdivisions full of McMansions. There are still plenty of normal sized homes in my area (including the one I share with my parents) but there are also unfortunately some McMansion-type homes in my own neighborhood, monstrosities with almost no yard left!

I used to work at CVS Pharmacy, through the Central Bucks School District's Intermediate Unit STEP program (which gave special ed kids work experience); Various businesses, including the local CVS in Doylestown, would allow students to work for them...

However, the businesses didn't pay the students; The school district paid the students, and I'm pretty sure it was less than minimum wage. I worked at CVS from September 2006 to May or June 2008, the Bucks County Public Library during roughly the same time period, and a retirement community from April to June 2009; I hated just about every minute of it!

The reason I bring this up is because I just remembered something that happened at the CVS where I used to work...

I do not remember when this happened, other than being sure it happened after I stopped working there (so after May-June 2008); I do not remember if I had my driver's license yet, but I do remember that I was with my mom. Honestly, this could have been anytime after late spring 2008, but most certainly before December 2014; I got my first real job in 2014, and by real job I mean a job that wasn't provided to me by the school district/special ed system, and also a job that I managed to hold onto for more than a few weeks (I was at Puck for more than four years)!

Those dates aren't that important to this story...

This incident happened after June 2008, but before December 2014, and I was with my mom...

We were in line at the CVS in Doylestown, behind this older woman who clearly wasn't playing with a full deck; This woman was taking her absolute sweet time, and she didn't have a credit card or any big bills. She starts taking self-wrapped bundles of change out of her purse and unwrapping them...

    :annoyed:

There were three or four registers, but only one cashier, and if my mom hadn't been right there I probably would have lost it! I was openly complaining about this woman to my mom, though I think she was either hard of hearing or too oblivious too hear me. I forget whether the old woman finally completed her transaction, or whether the retail gods answered my prayers and sent another cashier to the rescue, but we did eventually make it to the register. This woman so greatly annoyed the cashier that I was able to engage in a cheerful shit-talking session with them!
