Chris briefly replaced the stolen Ranger Rover with a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville, which was only seen in the season four finale; This was a brand new car at the time episode was filmed and when it took place, so it's possible that it could have been a rental or owned by Christopher...

The series skipped a year for some reason (Season 4 was in 2002 and Season 5 was in 2004; I forget why). By season five, Chris was driving a 2003 Hummer H2; Since Chris was a full-fledged mobster with oodles of ill-gotten money, it can be assumed that he just paid cash for every single one of his vehicles over the years...

A boss from another family got arrested by the feds at the end of season five, and sold his fairly new Maserati to Chris for a mere $25K at the beginning of the first half of season six because his assets were frozen and his wife needed money...

Chris purchased the car with his illegally-earned money, but he paid cash and had a title in his name; The feds deemed the sale to be illegal not because of where Chris earned the money used to pay for the car, but because Johnny Sack sold the car after he'd been arrested and his assets frozen, and seized it anyway...

An understandably pissed off Christopher initially thinks his baby is being towed because a towing company mistakenly believed it was illegally parked, until the feds threaten to haul him away too if he gives them trouble...

Chris buys a brand new 2007 Cadillac Escalade EXT after the Maserati is seized, and this is the last vehicle he ever owns...

He ends up crashing it while drunk and high on cocaine, and though he survives the initial wreck, Tony kills him because he believes he is detrimental to the "family" and could turn state's evidence...

Note the quote from Michael Imperioli's character in my signature...

He is listening to the remake of "Comfortably Numb" from the soundtrack of The Departed on the Escalade's CD player right before he crashes it, and while fiddling with the radio volume exclaims "This system's got no balls!" I first rewatched this episode for a second or third time around the time I got the Tacoma, and I believed that Moltisanti's quote accurately described the factory system in my truck!

I wouldn't mind another Lennox Unit but its probably out of my price range, thus the Rheem Unit the Furnace guy is wanting to install.

A decent Lennox unit probably would be; I would NOT install a Merit Series in my house; They're kinda flimsy and are sold under a bunch of names like Aire-Flo...

I finally found a pic of my old 2000 after that crash, wish it was panned out further though. That wheel is hanging on by a thread and just flopped around, plus the wheel itself is actually split in half.

I really wish they hadn't, you cant even begin to see all the damage either. The frame shoved back into the firewall and floor, the floor was all the way up to the clutch and brake pedals!

I know you wish they hadn't, but why did they?

Was it really worth that much? Did they replace the frame?

It still puzzles me to this day as after everything was all said and done it had to exceed the totaled value. They pulled the frame which was crazy for how bad it was mangled and the truck always pulled and never tracked straight again. The repair bill was broke into 2 different sections and memory tells me it was $8300 just for frame and suspension repairs.

Did the A/C blow cold? I'm guessing the bank still held the title when this happened?

The AC got trashed in that accident but after they replaced everything it worked ok again. Yeah I don't think the truck was paid off at that point, so I still had to make payments for a couple more years.

The Radiator was crushed as was obviously the AC Condenser and Lines. Believe it or not I got $17,100 for the truck after owning it for 8 years, I was sold on Tacoma's after that because of the way they hold value.

I don't think it does, I recall typing the VIN # in a few years back and it said something like Total Loss Title in 2009.

This is my old 2008, I have seen it out on the road a few times including last Summer.
