Now, if a tree fell on my cab, I know of a wrecked 2010 RC 2WD rotting in junkyard that has a good cab!

No engine or transmission, but the cab is in good shape...

If somebody really knew what they were doing, they could combine this truck was another wrecked RC; I don't think the white one in the photos has a title so the other donor truck would need a title...

A vehicle with a rebuilt title is utterly useless to me because those bastards at Uber Eats forbid the use of salvage vehicles; I hardly think it makes a difference for a vehicle being used to deliver food!

 

The Mustang was feeling a little peppy one day about 10 years ago, lol.

 

Does that have a true posi or just limited-slip?

 

Its Limited Slip, Ford calls it Traction Lock, but as you can see both tires do a pretty good job of turning together.

So, the inspection stickers on the white Taco expired in 2016 I believe; My uncle's friend owns the salvage yard where it was located...

The actual salvage yard where that truck is located is NOT open to the public; I took these pictures during a visit in September 2019, and the only reason they let me back there is because my uncle has been friends with the owner for years.

So, the truck was last inspected in 2015; My uncle's friend says he picked up the truck from a garage with the engine and transmission gone, and if I remember correctly he did not have a title. The truck was severely damaged on the driver's side, and the junkyard owner's theory is that the people he got it from bought it from an insurance auction for parts.

It really pained me to see a truck like mine in such shitty condition...

 

It sounds like it was definitely wanted for the engine and transmission.

 

I wonder if the frame is still good, or if it was ever replaced under recall; If it has a replacement frame, I'd give him $500 for the whole wreck!
