Wonder if that might be a 7 Up Mustang with different wheels and a goofy hood?

 

I was thinking the same thing! Also been debadged, as it doesn't has the fender emblems; In 2003 or 2004, Tony bought his daughter a 1996 Mustang convertible to get around at college (I don't think Meadow's car is a GT)...

One of my favorite characters in the Sopranos, Bobby Baccalieri, drove a 1990 Lincoln Mark VII until season five or so...

Tony bought his son a brand new Nissan Xterra SE 4x4 in season five, a much nicer vehicle than that well-worn Mustang in my opinion...

One thing I asked my dad when I was younger was why mobsters bought Cadillacs and Lincolns when they afford to buy much nicer vehicles; My dad said it was because they didn't want to attract the attention of the IRS (and thus the fed) by buying glitzy vehicles...

Seriously, most of the characters drove Cadillacs and Lincolns that were more than five years old. Johnny Sack had a 1990s Lincoln Town Car, then an early 2000s Mercedes S-class, and finally a 2004ish Maserati; With months of buying the $99K Maserati, Johnny Sack was arrested by the feds! In 2001, main character Silvio Dante was driving a 1992 Cadillac Seville despite being a millionaire gangster who owned a strip club!

There was an Asian hitman who drove a 1993 Honda Del Sol, in one episode of The Sopranos...

 

And Uncle Junior drove a 1964 Lincoln Continental in this flashback to the late 1960s...
