I am sure there are plenty available, the only issue on my car is sunroof storage is in the hatch, there is a big leather bag that get strapped down back there making the area off limits to any speakers.

 

There are kick panel enclosures available on Crutchfield (which I recommend you buy elsewhere because Crutchfield will narc you out to your state government and you'll get dinged for sales tax in your next year's tax returns).

 

That doesn't seem like it would be of much benefit as I cant imagine being able to fit a speaker larger than what is already in the doors into those front kick panels.

 

I'm guessing your car has the gray interior...?

Yep, that is the correct color, in 1993 it changed to Opal Gray.

 

You could put a powered sub under one seat and an external amp under another...

What's this about a sunroof? Or is your car a T-top?

 

There is no room under the seats, yeah my car has a Factory removeable sunroof.

 

Sucks you don't have a coupe; There'd be plenty of room in the trunk!

 

The hatch is huge, you can fit a pair of slicks back there, the problem is its the storage area for the sunroof.

 

Stick the sunroof in the backseat...?

And also, a double-DIN head unit like mine will supposedly fit in your car!

 

It has a special storage area where it gets belted down so that it cannot become a projectile, getting hit with a massive chunk of glass is not high on my list.

Right I believe that to be the case because the factory set up had an equalizer over the radio.

You should go touch-screen so you can put a backup camera in it! Have you ever seen a fox body with a backup camera installed? Installing a backup camera in a 28-year old muscle car would be giving the bird to the automakers! New cars suck!

 

Maybe some day I will look into one, not sure of any place to put a camera where it would not alter anything though.

 

My only complaint about the one I've got is that it reboots at the most inopportune times; Not just reboots, but totally shuts down for a few minutes at a time, and I not only do not have the radio, but the backup camera won't work either.

 

Mount above license plate, drill through metal behind license plate and run wire behind trim panels; You'll probably have to wire directly into the reverse light since the car is so old...
