Right, im not drilling any holes though, it would have to be a way that doesn't require that.

I've learned to live with it; Doesn't happen that often, and tends to happen more when it's cold out; That stereo has more memory than my parents' first computer and is probably a lot more complex!

My truck required absolutely no drilling to install the backup camera; Pull off the rear license plate and see what's back there...

Have you ever seen a fox body with a backup camera?

My car has a strange little Coaxial Box at the very top of the rear glass. The Original Owner was a fire fighter and had some kind of equipment mounted back there, I removed all the cable but the box has to stay.

I honestly believe that there's a loose connection and not anything actually wrong with the radio, but I haven't had the time to tear the dash apart to get back there!

I take the license plate off every year to clean and wax under there, there is really no area above it either.

If you put a rubber grommet in place, it would keep water out if you had to drill; They also make wireless backup cameras.

Does your current radio have Bluetooth? Sounds like all you really need are speakers? You can actually make it sound good without a sub; An external amp is more important!

They make wireless ones that show up on your phone or in a special rearview mirror...

I cant remember if it has bluetooth, honestly I rarely use it in my truck as cell service is sketchy around here.

Right if I ever decide to do something like that I would stick with something wireless but still have no place to put a camera in the rear.

The factory amp was quite small but since there is no empty interior spaces they had it mounted in behind the stereo.

You don't need space; With wireless it's integrated into your your license plate frame!

There's got to be some way to put a full system in a Mustang hatchback with a factory sunroof!

Im not sure a license plate frame would even fit, there is literally zero space above the license plate, maybe the thickness of a quarter.

You would have to hang something off the ceiling if you want the sunroof space.
