Things are getting crazy expensive, I picked up a couple saw blades and a box of screws and spent $55!

I am 99.9% sure I know why my gas mileage has been so atrocious...

I've got a leadfoot; Simple as that!

I've had my license almost nine years and in that time have managed to get only one speeding ticket (which I fought in court and got drastically reduced so I wouldn't get any points on my license), so I don't consider myself to be an unsafe driver in the slightest; I just have this habit of gunning it from stop signs and green lights at times!

I'm pretty sure the highest MPG I've managed to achieve on the highway is 22-23, and I've never gotten more than 19 MPG around town in the last year or so...

So, I've just got to go a bit lighter on the gas pedal!

Obviously based on a cabover chassis, but appears to be too small to be an Isuzu NPR or Mitsubishi Fuso; Also, those alloys (likely 5-lug) would never fit such a truck unless they put different axles on it...?

My mom got me this exact shirt for Christmas in 2005, when I was 16...

You can't really tell in this picture, but the attendant's nametag says "Stinky"!

This is about an issue my friend has been having with his 2010 F150 Lariat crew cab long bed 4x4; He bought the truck used in 2012 with like 50K miles on it. The truck now has well over 100K miles on it and has been reliable, but the A/C recently started blowing warm on the driver's side; It blew ice cubes on the passenger side until last year, and now it isn't blowing cold at all.

My friend believes the problem lies with the truck's automatic climate control; Having just had a similar probably with my Tacoma less than two years ago, albeit where the A/C blew warm on the passenger side but still ice cold on the driver's side, I disagree...

My truck ended up having a leaky evaporator core, and once the evaporator core was replaced, the problem went away; The A/C has been holding a charge so far!

My Tacoma has a much simpler HVAC control panel than a loaded F150 Lariat of the same year, but I think that the system developed a leak and now is completely out of R134a.

    What does everybody think?

I don't think there's any issue with the control panel whatsoever, and he's been putting off getting it fixed because it costs so much to tear into the dash just in labor alone...

The UV dye worked wonders in my truck!

Also, the truck was a bank repo with relatively high miles for being just two years old at the time (50K on a 2010 in 2012); The truck was in great shape when he bought it (and my friend paid cash so he owns it outright), but after ten months working in a detail shop, I can tell you from experience that just a few hours work can make a poorly maintained turd look a mint condition deal of the century...

One time, we got a typical creeper van in the detail shop, and there were blood stains in the back...

A logical explanation would be that blue collar worker who traded it in cut himself by accident, but it really makes you wonder!
