Just picked up a tube of Goop at my uncle's recommendation; It'll guarantee that the skins stay on, but they'll still be easy to remove when the wheels need to come off...

Your buddy really needs to start with a recharge and make sure the system is topped off. once you know the freon level is correct, if the problem is still present I'd start looking at the door flaps that direct the airflow to the passenger / driver sides

Scan the hvac system for trouble codes if you can. Alot of times when those flap motors/doors break it'll set hvac codes. Could give you a place to start looking

 

My Microwave shit the bed this morning, this one only lasted about 5 years whereas the previous one lasted 15 years!

GE. The one that lasted 15 years was a GE too but I had a feeling this newer one was not going to have that same lifecycle.

 

The quality of appliances has gone down.

 

I agree 100%, I remember my grandparents having a refrigerator for more than 50 years and it was always ice cold, highly doubt any current one would last that long.
