I could not imagine financing something with no A/C! My dad has not owned a vehicle without A/C since 1992!

 

You are actually more correct than you realize, he just had hired someone move it for him and it got all dented and crunched up above the 5th wheel.

 

It was in the 1980's, inexpensive cars were pretty bare bones.

 

Does he have the title now?

 

Believe it or not he did manage to track a title down for it but he still has not had all the signatures done in front of a Notary to make it legal.

 

He said the truck only has Reverse and one Forward gear, nothing else.

You must be a good dude to keep in touch with your ex girl and her kid. I’m way too much of an asshole lol. Maybe he should listen to you when he buys vehicles more though.

 

Thanks brother, I am definitely too nice sometimes. I really wish he would listen to me as I feel like I have been giving him pretty sound advice, he just keeps picking really bad stuff that is putting him under water.

 

To anybody who thinks they can make me stay in my house and not go for daily joyrides in my truck just to keep my sanity...





I don't get out of my truck except when I need to get gas (which is maybe once a week, and I wear a mask and gloves while doing so), and I don't think I am putting anybody in danger by simply driving around for an hour or two a day!

 

My opinion is you are inside if you're inside your vehicle. Mental health is important too.

 

Your story reminded me of my buddies dad when we were younger as he had an oddball car too, a Granada with a 302 and a 4 speed.

 

I beat the main storyline of Grand Theft Auto Five in about a week; Turns out that the main storyline is less than 70% of the game!

Unfortunately, I made about the half the money I was hoping to make...

Anybody who’s played GTA 5 knows Michael De Santa ends up becoming a movie producer; I figured I change the personalized plate on his black Obey Tailgater (a sedan based on an Audi A6) to say “PRODUCIN”. What I did not entirely realize is that this was the PERMANENT default plate for my Rockstar Social Club account and I can’t change it; I also didn’t realize that the plate would be the same across the vehicles of all three protagonists...

When I switched characters, I realized that Franklin’s green motorcycle said PRODUCIN as well instead of the HULKSTER plate I’d chosen; Now my default plate is PRODUCIN and I can’t change it!



I changed the plate to a new one featuring my a hint at my last name (why it’s blacked out)...

 

Franklin Clinton drives a white Bravado Buffalo S, a vehicle clearly based on the 2011-present Dodge Charger; He also has a green motorcycle called a Western Bagger, which looks like a Harley-Davidson Road King. The Buffalo’s plate said FC1988, Franklin’s initials and birth year; The bike’s plate simply said FC88...

Trevor Philips drives a red Canis Bodhi, which resembles a 1960s Kaiser-Jeep military pickup truck; The Bodhi’s plate said “Betty 32”, which is either CB handle or more likely a reference to Trevor’s mom...

Now the cars of all three protagonists have my personalized plate!
