Just a quick jaunt over to the neighbor's house so he could listen to my speakers and see if he thought they were failing (they're not); Gonna take him out this Saturday...

I have relatives that live in NJ. I was Driving the Jeep Liberty CRD (*diesel) then. I pulled up to a pump with both fuels. the guy comes over I am already out unlocking the fuel cap. I knew it was full service and about the fire code preventing non professional drivers from dispensing gas. he says he has to fill it i'm like okay fine be sure to fill it with diesel. This is where it went south. He says to me "No these cars use gas, I put in gas only." I show him the green fuel cap with diesel only printed on it and the sticker in the fuel door saying the same. buy this time he has the unleaded nozzle in hand still insisting he is correct. It turned to shouting and claiming I was assaulting him as I calmly said NO and took the nozzle from him and retuned it to the pump. Idiot couldn't be reasoned with and I wasn't allowing a mis fuel. I got in and drove to a different location with the gas and diesel on separate islands. I was able to do it myself there.

Ookah (excellent sushi place) is open but for takeout only...

 

Washed the truck today for the show tomorrow...

 

Liquor store open, but for curbside takeout only...

 

It’s about 85 degrees, which means I’m using the A/C, which means I’m using more gas...

 

So I drove up to Grammy’s house to make my rounds, and imagine my absolute surprise when I came around back and found a guy working on the heat pump...

Turns out he was a tech here to service the neighbor’s heat pump, and he thought my grandma’s was the neighbor’s; I wanted to fire up the A/C and make sure it still turned on, but took a bit of calling around to get the code for the lockbox...

Unfortunately, it seems like the A/C might need a charge because the refrigerant lines are hot and it’s not blowing cold air. I set the emergency heat so the heat pump won’t turn on when it’s warm out and cook the compressor (my grandma is paranoid about the pipes freezing).
