Check @ 1k. Then go from there.

I’ll admit I’m not that old. But checking and adding oil used to “common maintenance” practice.
Yes, it’s not as relevant today, with all the emissions components.
As they can be affected by “burning oil”.
But using oil is actually nothing new, it just not as common.

I guess my point is it, it’s not something to be stressed over if it’s with in reason.
As in 1qt. per 3k miles. You just need to check it and keep oil in it.

These little emblems say "Mark Of Excellence" guessing they are 40 - 50 years old

My truck has a heavily upgraded stereo system that includes aftermarket JBL speakers; I have JBL emblems that came with the speakers glued to the speaker grilles. One of them came off, and I was wondering if it was possible to buy factory Tacoma JBL speaker emblems?

I believe so! But it’s up on roof and we don’t own the building so I’m not allowed up there :(

I was thinking the same thing too depending on how badly the roof was damaged

Yeah I was surfing car pics, guessing that pic was from the 1980s.

My blower motor is making an obnoxious noise; It’s been replaced twice! Once under warranty in 2012 or so, and once in the last six months; The one in there now is a generic brand that I got for eighty bucks. I’m seeing them on Amazon and eBay for $30-$50; When I was looking to replace it the second time, my local dealer quoted me $240!

This is a part I can install myself; I just want a quality part without overpaying for it!

I just went thru this, the plastic squirrel cage cracked and gets out of balance. Looked everywhere for a replacement. No luck.
The OEM only comes as a complete unit (180.00) and only takes 5 min to change. Fixed the problem and I kept the motor in case I need it later.

What do you mean by complete unit? The whole assembly with the insert area for the filter? Show me proof that the assembly is $180 because my local stealership quoted me $240!

Just did this the end of last year and it was 180.00 for the Motor and fan assy. I will look to see if I can find the paperwork.
Held in by about 4 screws, and one quick disconnect harness.

I'm just glad that the coldness of the A/C and overall power of the fan motor isn't effected, because it's been hot as hell here in Southeast PA lately (what you Arizonians would likely refer to as a cold snap)!
