Having driven a 3.5L/auto 3rd Gen, I’d say it’s pretty underpowered by comparison. However, it’ll do do well over 80 MPH on the highway with the A/C on!

    Read through this, https://www.q8oils.com/automotive/low-hths-oils

You can fact check this by doing some searching yourself on HTHS of oil from other sources, but they will all agree that more HTHS protects engines better. 5w30 has a higher HTHS value than 0w20. 0w20 and 0w16 are pushed for fuel efficiency since thats what it's all about nowdays, especially with CAFE and manufacturers needing to up their numbers. There is an SAE publication somewhere about 0w20 allowing metal to metal contact under high loads, and needing correct levels of anti-wear additives to prevent damage. Depending on how you drive and your needs 0w20 might suffice, but IMO 5w30 is the way to go.

Is alcohol or tobacco worse for you in your opinion? You’re not gonna get a DUI for smoking and driving, at least...

The company I work for has a boat that it uses for work, and the trailer has not been registered in the ten years they've owned it; The boat has a title, but the old guy they bought it from did not have a title for the trailer. The trailer has never been taken more than a couple of miles from the place where they store it, but now they're thinking they want to take it to other locations, which would require registering it.

My supervisor has the VIN/serial number for the trailer, and took it to a notary, but the notary found no records on the trailer.

Replacing a lost title for a motor vehicle is easy, but I'm guessing trailers are different? Supervisor wants to register trailer as a homemade trailer and get a new title that way; Is this possible?

Is it possible to apply for a title and registration in Maine, Vermont, or one of those other loophole states?

Best way to handle is to call the state DMV and ask. Rules are all over the place between states. Where I am if the trailer has a manufacturer vin/sn it cannot be registered as homemade. As far a licensing in another state that's asking for trouble. Usually what happens is that you apply for a lost title, state police do a VIN search to make sure its not stolen and then issue a new registration, though some state require a security bond.

Call and find out, trailers are cheap enough to just replace it if needed.

Just reserved my hotel room for the truck nationals! Staying in a hotel was always fun for me, but I’m not so sure now, with this damn pandemic going on...
