Just spent the day at the Carlisle Chevy Nationals and stopped at Sheetz to refuel...

Never heard of “Unleaded 88”; It’s 10 cents cheaper than 87, but I still went with the 87...

 

Was it E-15?

 

No, that’s here too...

 

That is unusual. Sounds like a marketing gimmick. Why the hell would you have a gasoline with one octane value above 87 and sell it cheaper than 87? Maybe it doesn't contain the detergent additives like the other grades. I mean, it'll cost extra to blend genuine 88 octane due to it's uniqueness.

That is not E15,,,its E51-E83

I’m a little amazed at the price. I just paid $1.99 (87) and thought that was high.

 

I wish gas was that cheap where I am. The prices never dropped from covid, either

 

Where are you at fool? I'm in Elkridge and I'm paying $2.19. I just traveled all up and down 70 and 68 today and it was about $2.19 the whole way.

 

Damn y'all.

$1.64 here, and that's still not the cheapest in the greater metropolitan area.

 

i just don't feel comfortable if I'm paying less than $2.70 / gallon

 

Cheapest gas I’ve seen in my area was $1.79 at the BJ’s in Warrington...

I’m pretty sure your gas cap says nothing more than 10% ethanol.

 

I've only seen it at one station. It was E15, the 87 octane was E10.

 

I’d prefer NO ETHANOL to be honest...
