Gonna come back one more time on Tuesday to meet the propane guy, and then the new owners close on Wednesday!

Doesn’t bother me none, but my Grandma’s been trying to sell it for close to a year and this sale cannot fall through!

Was about to leave for a cruise night in Hatboro when I realized I couldn’t find my camera; I quickly figured out I must have left it at grammy’s condo...

My options were to drive all the way back up to Bethlehem to get the damn thing, or wait until I go back on Tuesday and use my measly iPhone to take pictures at car shows this weekend; You can probably figure out which option I chose!

This is the oven at my parents’ house; A few months ago, my mom was making ziti or something and some of the tin foil dropped to the bottom of the oven...

Does anybody know how to get it off? Would running it in self-clean work?

Geesh, that's a hot surface. Aluminum melts around 900-1200F, depending on the alloy. Foil is typically pretty pure aluminum, so toward the upper end of that temp range. If it's actually melted on it may be adhered to whatever other stuff was stuck to that coating, but I don't think it would stick to the coating itself.

There is glass cooktop cleaning stuff that is an acid and it dissolves burned on residue and then it's easy to scrape off, that might help if you can get it under the edges. It might be obvious to you, but avoid using metal to scrape, or anything that could scratch that coating. If it gets chipped, it can easily crack from that point after thermal cycles.

Worst case, cleaning cycle would melt the rest and it would just become part of the oven. Not sure if there are any hazardous conditions associated with molten aluminum being near food, though. Aluminum vapor might not be good?

Regular oven cleaner will remove that.
