Well I quoted it so you can just click the little arrow thing...

1990 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE with 262K miles but in near-mint condition with no rust! Ice cold A/C, killer factory Infinity stereo, and no leaks or weird noises whatsoever!

Funny thing I forgot to mention about the parking lot encounter last September; As part of the damage assessment, the insurance adjuster inputs all the vehicle's options to get the current cash value and determine if it's worth fixing...

Obviously, at $450 for parts and labor, there's no way my truck would have been totaled even it was a 2005 with over 200K miles; However, the adjuster seems a bit surprised when he found out that my truck had air-conditioning!

I forget whether he replaced that due to a minor fender bender or if he was in the early stages of prepping the entire van for a new paintjob...

I think Toyota stopped making the Regular Cab Tacoma around 2013 or 2014.

Also, I've said this before but I've only seen one 2nd Gen Taco with no A/C; It was a Barcelona Red 2005-2008 RC 5-lug 5-speed that I saw up in Maine like six or seven years ago...

I've seen a few pre-Tacoma extra cab Toyota pickups without A/C, but I've never seen an access cab Taco of any year, generation, or configuration without A/C, EVER. I have seen a few 1st Gen RCs with no A/C.

That makes sense, they probably announced it in 2013 and like you said stopped in 2014.

Sometimes I wish I had an access cab (don’t need a double unless I have kids), but I like the way the regular cab looks better than the other two...

Dunno yet; Wish I had an idea of what my truck would look like afterwards because I don't want to pay Pete to install it and then decide I don't like the way it looks...

Who's the guy on here with the '07 RC 5-lug with long-travel suspension that he's dropping a V8 in? He can probably answer all my questions?

My 3 previous Tacoma's were Access Cabs, l wanted another one but the only way to get a Manual Transmission Off Road was in Double Cab.

Here's another mask-related incident that took place last spring; It was no more than two months after we adopted Porter (We brought Porter home on March 9th, 2020; This was either in late April or early May). My coworker who was Porter's foster parents gave us a harness that the leash could be attached to; Unfortunately, I left this unattended and in Porter's reach at some point, and he got ahold of it and shredded it...

So, Porter needed a new harness; This was when I was still furloughed from NAVMAR so I could just hop in the truck and drive to the pet store...

I put Porter in the truck and drove him a few miles up the road to the PetSmart in Warminster; Obviously I wasn't going to buy a harness without seeing if the damn thing fit first, and one of the beautiful things about pet stores is that they allow you to bring your pets inside!

The first harness ended up being too small, and I'd made the mistake of buying without actually putting it on Porter first and attempting to put it on in the truck out in the parking lot...

I obviously had no problem returning a harness that I'd just purchased not even five minutes later, and to which I still had the packaging and receipt for as a result; I am 99% sure that this incident took place when I'd picked out the second harness and putting that on Porter inside the pet shop..

Trying to control about forty pounds of Labrador puppy can result in heavy breathing, so my reusable cloth mask inevitably exhausted every breath I took upwards and fogged up my glasses!

    :annoyed:

Trying to put a harness on a wriggling puppy is next to impossible with fogged glasses, so I did exactly what I'd end up doing at the Mission BBQ in June and lowered my mask below my nose; The female clerk, who was probably in her late teens or early twenties, abruptly and rather threateningly told me to put my mask all the way on. I wanted to tear her a new one for not carefully assessing the situation before reacting, but my glasses had defogged on their own, and I could see again; I slid the mask up and successfully got the harness onto Porter. Nothing else came of it, and I am proud to say that since the Mission BBQ incident that happened maybe a month and a half later I have not had a mask-related incident...

    And I lied...

    :sorry:

This happened at a car show in Telford, Pennsylvania on a Sunday in either August or September of 2020; I saw this woman with an older Beagle and asked if her dog was friendly; "Is your dog friendly?", as we all know, is just another way of saying "I want to pet your dog"...

This woman said something along the lines of "Yes she's friendly, but I don't want you to pet her because you're not wearing a fucking mask..."

The F-bomb automatically triggered me and put me on the defensive, and some words were exchanged before she stormed off and went inside an old house that was directly across from the car show; It hurt my feelings more than anything, because I've asked to pet plenty of dogs during this pandemic (sometimes while wearing a mask and sometimes not), and NOBODY has responded the way that bitch did!

I have NOT had any mask-related incidents since the one with the woman at the car show in Telford!

The only AC MT 3rd Gen was the now discontinued 2016-2017 SR 4 Cyl 5 Speed, and the still available Sport V6 6 Speed MT.

Yup! And regardless of what the situation is I tend to have a huge problem with taking orders from someone who is considerably younger than me; I don't care if my boss is a man or a woman, or what their ethnicity is, but I really prefer that they are my age or older...

I got into so many disagreements with cunty teenagers at the Wawa when my boss and coworkers at Puck sent me on cigarette runs, because they all knew who I was and that I was well into my twenties, but insisted on carding me every fucking time! I'm glad I don't smoke!

My boss at Puck was a woman four months older than me, and we just clicked; At the detail shop, during the time I was there anyway, all of the supervisors were my age or older...

At my current place of employment, one of my coworkers is almost a decade younger than me, but he has been years a full year longer than me and thus has more seniority; He is not my boss/supervisor, but he still has a bit more say in what jobs he does and what jobs I get stuck with. Sometimes, when he talks to me and/or asks to do something, it sounds as though he is talking down to me and that really pisses me off. We get along great 98% of the time, but one big issue is that both of us seem to prefer working alone, and neither of us likes to be a passenger in a vehicle that someone else is driving; Whenever he's with me, he always drives and I've just sort of come to terms with that. We have gotten a lot better when it comes to disagreements, but I still hate taking orders from people who are younger than me.

Not long after I left the detail shop, a guy who was about eight years younger than me got promoted to supervisor; He's a great guy, but I just have this about being bossed around by people younger than me, so I'm glad I left!
