That looks like a pretty large battery from that picture, glad you figured out the issue.

But I’ve never heard of a low battery causing a CEL to come on...

The newer the vehicle the more sensitive they are to battery voltage.

How far is that from Myrtle Beach? I've got an uncle who owns a wheel repair business in Myrtle Beach, and I will ask him how to do it; Will only ship if you pay...

I'm tempted to buy the van for $2,500 and use it as an Uber vehicle, but I don't think the company will relinquish it; The van has a rebuilt transmission and all of the really expensive stuff has been done. All it really needs is a thorough detailing and modern HU with Bluetooth and a backup camera! The factory speakers sound surprisingly good for what they are; The van's factory radio does have an AUX input and a CD player, but not Bluetooth, a USB port, or a backup camera, the latter of which is why I hate backing the thing up...

Yeah sounds like it would make a decent second-hand vehicle

But it's still a MOPAR product, and I would want to be absolutely sure I earned more in Uber fares than I paid for the van before something really expensive broke...

And I'm not doing anything Uber, either as a driver or a passenger, until I get my COVID vaccine!

I don't know if I've ever shared this story...

My parents bought a 2-story, 3-bedroom house in Virginia Beach more than 22 years ago; They closed on the house in late summer of 1998. The house had been built in 1996, so it was pretty much brand new, and my parents bought it from the original owners; The original owners were a young married couple with a baby...

We lived in that house just shy of two years; My parents put the house on the market in April or May of 2000, and it didn't take long to sell it. My parents merely broke even, but they weren't underwater on the mortgage (This 3-bedroom/2.5-bathroom house with central A/C and a 2-car garage was worth only $150K 20 years ago; Now it's worth closer to $400K!)…

So, this young couple in their twenties who had either just married or was soon-to-be-married bought the house. Their check cleared, they closed on the house, and my parents and I went up to Maine for vacation before moving across the country to Oak Harbor, Washington...

My parents hired a woman named Diane Black from a realty firm called Rose & Womble when they first went house-hunting in 1998, and she helped them find that house; They liked her enough that they hired her to sell the place less than two years later! Not long after we moved to Washington, Diane emailed my parents and told them some shocking news...

    YOU READY FOR IT?

Like I said, I don't remember if the people who bought our house in Virginia Beach were already married or about to be married, but I do remember that they bought the house BEFORE their honeymoon if they were already married. I'm almost 32 years old as of this post; Both the man and the woman had to be at least three years younger then than I am now, and if they were already married, the wedding had been just days prior to closing on the house!

Well, Diane emailed my parents, and told them that our house back on the market because something had happened during the honeymoon and this newly married couple was seeking a divorce!

I guess that's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes...

On another note, you often hear horror stories about movers who are either crooked or just plain incompetent, or both; Not including the move between two government-owned houses in March 1997, we moved seven times between 1990 and 2007! I was only a year old and obviously way too young to remember the move from California to Pennsylvania in 1990; All seven of those moves, plus the small-scale move in March 1997, were paid for by the U.S. Navy (Packers, moving men, moving van; EVERYTHING)!

    :woot:

All the moving companies were thoroughly vetted before the military hired them, so we never had any "horror stories"; I believe the company that moved us out of the Milpitas house in 1990 was Two Men and a Truck; I have no memory of this because I just a baby and I am going by what my mom told me...

Mayflower moved us from Pennsylvania back to California in 1996; I remember the Mayflower guys being incredibly friendly, and that was the first move I was old enough to remember. I had lived in Pennsylvania for literally my whole life (I was 7), and I was a bit upset to be leaving Pennsylvania; One thing I distinctly remember is that the Mayflower guys actually gave me this activity kit with a coloring book and an adorable story about a girl roughly my age who was upset about moving and actually tried to ship herself back home to her old house!

In the military, the size of house you get is based on your rank and paygrade; There were no houses equal to my dad's paygrade, and our "temporary" house was this WWII-era 2-bedroom shitbox that was way too small for all of our stuff. The Navy gave my dad another identical house to store our excess belonging in; Once again...

    :woot:

We moved into the 2-bedroom shitbox in August or September of 1996, and I vaguely remember spending a day or two without furniture; I had already started 2nd grade by the time our furniture arrived. A much bigger, much newer, and moderately nicer 3-bedroom home became available in February or March of 1997; The Navy hired a small local outfit to move us what I'm guessing was less than two miles from the off-base shitbox to the larger on-base house, and we were moved into the second house before my 8th birthday!
