    @PennSilverTaco My Dad told me something that happened to him in the 1960's. He pulled up to a red light and there was a couple arguing on the sidewalk, the girl opens the door and jumps in the back seat and shortly after so does the guy. They continue arguing in the back seat of my Dad's car, he stops at the next light and they jump out and the guy throws a couple bucks on the seat, lol.

    Yeah you can't think of today's society for something that happened 50 years ago. My Dad told me that story several times and don't recall the people ever saying anything to him as it sounded like they were too busy fighting.

    @shakerhood

    You story of the Corsica with an AM radio made me think of my summer camp art teacher's Celebrity wagon...

    In the late spring or early summer of 2002, right before we moved to Virginia from Oak Harbor, Washington my mom enrolled me in a summer art camp to keep me occupied; I believe it met at Coupeville High School like two or three times a week. The teacher was a middle-aged woman, and she drove a blue 1988 Chevy Celebrity Wagon; That car was not in very good condition, but in her own words, the thing would not die...

    I believe it had the 2.5L Iron Duke, and it was a fairly stripped down model with crank windows; The Chevy Celebrity could be had with a manual transmission in the early 1980s, but I've never seen one. This car, of course, had a column-shifted automatic; In typical Charlie fashion, I questioned the teacher about the car, and I distinctly remember her telling me that it DID NOT have air-conditioning...

    I also remember that it no longer had the factory radio, but instead had a cheap single-DIN shaft-style AM/FM cassette that you'd buy at Walmart; The thing didn't even have a retrofit bezel, and was just haphazardly shoved into the radio opening and sitting sideways in the dash!

    In the Northwest, especially in the part of Washington where we lived, 4-door vehicles that you would expect to have A/C did not have A/C; However, the more that I think about it, I actually believe that her Celebrity wagon did have A/C at one time but it just did not work anymore because the car was 14 years old and not in good shape.

    For one of my assignments, I drew her Celebrity from scratch, and then painted it as it appeared it really life and painted a large tornado in the background! She loved it!

    I spent almost $170 getting that snowblower running; I want to use the damn thing!

    They make a kit for the Mustang that will allow a Double Din Radio with Touch Screen to fit, but it moves the climate controls to the bottom so l dont really care for it.

    You can relocate the climate controls; I've seen something similar done in a 2002-2006 BMW M3!
