The story I was getting ready to tell before I got sidetracked takes place sometime between mid-2015 and late 2018, when I was working at the bar; I believe it was in 2016 or 2017...

Anyway, the bar is owned by a wealthy older couple, and the husband is a lawyer; The accountant for all of their business dealings operates out of the law firm. I would routinely walk (drive if it was really cold, really hot, or the weather was bad) to the law firm to pick up paperwork and shit; One time, my boss (the general manager of the bar) sent me to the CPA's office to pick up some sort of paperwork. I went there, and the accountant wasn't there, and I couldn't find what I was looking for. I texted my boss and she responded by telling me to text her a picture of the desk to see if she could pick out the item in question. Right as I was getting ready to take the picture, a woman who worked at the law firm (we knew each other but not well) came in and asked what I was doing; I explained the situation and proceeded to continue with taking the picture...

Unbeknownst to both me and my boss, there was confidential paperwork on the CPA's desk, and this woman promptly flipped out grabbed me in an attempt to keep from taking pictures; If this woman had done this ten to twelve years earlier, I probably would have punched her purely out of reflex. If it had been a man instead of a woman in the present time, I probably would have reacted defensively: Luckily, I (A) have strict moral beliefs about laying hands on women and (B) about a decade of common sense and maturity kicked in and saved me from myself. I kind of pushed myself away from her and sternly told her not to touch me, apologized for the misunderstanding, and left; Nothing happened. I had a talk with my boss about putting me in those types of situations and she apologized; Problem solved!

@PennSilverTaco About 30 years ago l had to take my then girlfriend to a high rise building for her to meet a lawyer or some kind of business meeting. When she led me to the bank of elevators l started feeling sick and having anxiety, she starts to shove me into the elevator and says just go up 1 or 2 floors and see if you feel any better. Thankfully a security guard notices and asks if l was ok and if l wanted me to go sit and have a cup of coffee with him. My bitch girlfriend was trying to trick me as that was was an express elevator that didn't stop until floor 50, that was sadistic in my book.

And not the good, kinky kind of sadistic; How long did that relationship last after that...?

Yeah definitely not the good kind, it didnt last much longer at all after that. In fact l got kinda pissed just thinking about it, that was certainly not a way to help someone with anxiety.

She was a woman, and she didn't know anything about me; Those two things worked out in her favor...

One of my best friends, Mike, who also has Aspergers has this constant need to have a clock within view at all times when he's in bed; When we were sharing a room at his parents' vacation home in the Poconos, we got into an argument because the light from his phone screen kept me awake.

I solved the issue by relocating his phone to a place where he could still see it, but I couldn't...

This same friend also has an issue with cars missing hubcaps; His parents' cars used to lose hubcaps, and it turned into an obsession where he could notice a car with even one missing hubcap a mile away. This issue has gone away after nearly three years of us generally ignoring him when he points out missing hubcaps; On at least two occasions when it was me, him, and our friend Doug crammed into my truck for a short drive to the movies, he would mess around with the USB cord for my iPod. Because Mike was the smallest, we always put him in the middle seat; He would constantly play with the USB cord as a form of fidgeting, and two out of three times on one trip, I ended up screaming at him because it distracted me.

Is he the same guy you were teaching about using the High Beam Headlights that blinded you while driving behind you cause he thought he only needed to worry about oncoming traffic?

Same. I'm a hug monster with people I know but if I don't know you or you are acting like a bellend, we got a problem. I'm not on the spectrum, just a general wariness of the unknown and having been in a few bar fights.

There was this one time at the bar where I worked like 7 or 8 years ago; I was there as a customer on open mic night and I'm pretty sure it was before I worked there...

There was this Hispanic guy who worked for the owners of the bar, and he was there as a customer and totally hammered. His English was not too good, and his exacerbated the issue; I was just trying to drink my beer and have a good time, and he kept getting uncomfortably close to me and trying to talk to me...

I was pretty much sober, and this guy looked at me and said "Fuck me?" He said it in question form; I did not know him at the time, and I thought he was coming on to me! Turns out the way he meant it was that he was asking "Do you think I'm an asshole?" However, like I said he was drunk and spoke poor English; I started by just ignoring him and moving away. He was too drunk to pick up on the cues I was giving him, and kept getting close to me after I'd move away. I was really good friends with the bartender at this point, this attractive woman who was about 40 at the time; I walked up to her and was like "Charlene, if you don't do something this guy, I'm gonna put him on ass." I'd complained about him earlier, but it wasn't taken seriously; I was considerably larger than this guy, and as I stated earlier completely sober, and Char knew I wasn't joking. She and another employee promptly stopped serving him drinks and told him it was time to go.

Turns out that this Hispanic guy is actually a very nice guy, and to this day I am very friendly with him, but he has absolutely no recollection of that night!

No, that was Doug; Also on the spectrum, and who I don't ride with as a passenger anymore since I think he's a lousy driver and almost got me KILLED due to his lackadaisical driving habits back in 2016...

He got his license more than two years before I got mine, but he didn't know how to pump gas; I didn't even have a driver's license yet, and I taught him how to pump gas! One time in 2010 or 2011 when we carpooled to college, he literally sideswiped the Hyundai parked next to him while pulling out of a parking space, and then became incredibly hostile towards me when I told him he hit the car; Not only that, he outright denied hitting the car! I checked for damage and found none, so we just left, but that's not the point...

He is one friend who I would not allow to borrow my truck!

Oh no, I dont blame you for not wanting to drive with him! Most definitely dont let him borrow your truck as it sounds like it would not come back in one piece.

@Babybluetaco was saying anything largers than 1.5" would cause things to come into contact that shouldn't be coming into contact...

And how do you think it'll look with the current-sized tires? Did you see the RC from Carlisle that I posted pictures of (look above)?
