That is a nice truck to win in the raffle. Hope you win it!

But should I give up the Tacoma, or keep both?

I would keep both as the Tacoma was a gift from your parents and you have had some fond memories with your taco.

I just hope my boss realizes I was 50% kidding...

If I hit the Mega Millions, I'd just buy my boss her own vehicle, and that's no joke. Recently, she's taken a liking to the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk...

Also, the Uncommonwealth of Pennsylvania is a prick when it comes to taxes. They tax out the ass on vehicles, even ones that were won in nonprofit church charities. The only reason I avoided taxes on the Tacoma when my dad signed it over to me is because I am his son and he "gifted" the truck to me. I kept the same license plate that's been with the truck since we drove it off the lot back in 2009.

What could possibly have been done to my truck before we bought it that reduces the carrying capacity by a mere 3 pounds? FYI: I'm pretty sure this was here before I replaced the factory 15-inch steel wheels with 16-inch Platinum Apex rims.

    IMG_3727.jpg

My mechanic installed the rims and new tires for free on October 31st, 2013 but didn't have the necessary software to reprogram my truck's TPMS. Thompson Toyota in Doylestown couldn't do it either. Finally brought it to the dealer we bought it from new back in September 2009, Peruzzi Toyota in Hatfield. They were able to reprogram the TPMS sensors in the Apex wheels. Could Peruzzi have slapped this sticker on my doorjamb?

It just means you have a factory installed accessory that weighs 3 lbs. I have the same sticker but I think it's around 80 lbs.

The owner of this older Yukon has the right idea...

NOTE: Inspection expired in March 2017 and picture was taken in April 2017.

If everybody (and I do mean EVERYBODY) in Pennsylvania just boycotted getting their vehicles inspected, what's Harrisburg gonna do about it?

Fresh out of the car wash earlier today! Decided to hit the nearby Coldstone and indulge myself in entirely too much ice cream!

This is pure conjecture but, Dealership markup. Dealership owner is probably a deacon or church elder and donated the truck for raffle for tax purposes for his business and as a benefit to his church parish. The president of a local auto dealership is a big wig in our church. He regularly drops fat donations in the offering bowl for tax purposes & to support the church.

Yeah it's a Chevy, that's the problem. My 06 blew the head at 70K miles. Total shitbox and why I stopped buying GM

My Tacoma's probably gonna hit 73K before Memorial Day weekend (probably sooner), and still runs smooth as silk. I love old Chevy trucks though... Especially the full-size trucks. The only compact pickup Chevy ever got right was the S-10...

71K on mine. Bought it with 6600 or so, I can tell you to the mile if I check my trip odometer B
