You'll probably need a thin sub in a regular cab.

Sundown SD3 is probably your best bet in terms of output and SQ in a small enclosure (.5 cubic feet). If you can fit it. I think it's 4.75" deep. It's a super sweet sub at around $200.

And $180 seems a bit high for that amp used. 500 or so watts for the above should get it done.

When I bought my 2015 new I looked at a used 2015 that was from Canada's east coast. There was about $5k worth of depreciation on it so it was attractive with low km. The problem was how rusty it looked not just the frame but the whole underbody. It looked like it had been on a lot of gravel roads and had the paint sandblasted off. I bought the new one for this reason and after two winters in the central Ontario snow and rust belt it still looks like new underneath. The contrast between the two vehicles is remarkable.

Mine is a regular cab..same color even. Not sure but it looks like the amp is 500 watts?

Having lived in the northeast my entire life, reality would suggest (strongly) that not treating a vehicle and ten thinking one has 'won the battle' against the salt based on 2, 3 or even 4 years have past from new is kidding themselves.

I wish you luck, but get get back to us after another several years of non-treatment and then i might actually be impressed.

...and that applies to any manufacturer, in this environment.

In Nova Scotia all our cars and trucks from all makes are rusty by 10 years and gone in 15 if you are lucky if never been treated, but there seems to be lots of 10 year plus from all makes that have been treated from new with years of use left.
But in reality I do not care what others do or not do. I know what works for me.

Yeah, I agree, my truck was undercoated at the dealer with kind of a por 15 coating. I don't rely on that however. I keep it clean in the winter, especially after a snowstorm when the roads are coated with sand and salt. The sand is as bad as the salt. It creates a kind of liquid sandpaper and the slush and slurry blasts off the paint and any coating you have on there. Also, I use a dehumidifier in my garage to dry it out. But at the end of the day, at 10 years whatever is left, is what it is and I move on. I'm not trying to keep it forever and it will owe me nothing after 10 years of use.

10 years of use are my hopes also, but mine was 15 years old when I bought it so only 9 years left hopefully. I looked at 3 when I bought mine last year. 2 where never treated, 1 was yearly. For roughly the same money it was an easy decision.

So what you are saying is this. If for the first four years I never treat the truck frame , and even after inspecting it frequently and not seeing any prominent rust...suddenly in my fifth year rust will magically appear? Rust doesnt appear over night. Its not like. well my frame is perfect for 4 years, but on 4 years and 1 day my truck is a rust bucket.

I live in the northeast, go on the beach frequently, they salt the SHIT out the roads around here, guess what? No rust, even without treating my frame.

But damn, after reading your post I better be careful because the rust fairy may suddenly appear out of no where and prove you right and me wrong.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Its still fine, spray warm used motor oil with parafin wax melted in it inside your frame and on the outside.

Or just wash it semi regularily and dont stress.

    Ahhahaha

Plenty of non rusted frames out there. All you have to do is keep them clean.

You CAN do more, but its not just going to disapear over night. I wash the mud and salt out semi regularily, and about twice a year I go in and clean all the areas where shit hides and dirt builds up.

Mine looks like that every year . Get under it with a wire cup attached to a drill and clean and paint with rust preventer.

My GSD had an early-years taste for drywall.

Also once chewed off and ate a metal prong off a multimeter. Never did see it come out.

Ran the license plate on the blue truck above through CARFAX. Comes back to a 2007 Toyota Tacoma double cab (can't tell if it is a DCLB or a DCSB). Last reported odometer reading was 61,985 in August 2011. The trail goes cold after August 2013. Apparently the LAPD's insurance carrier paid out $40,000 to replace the truck. CARFAX still shows this truck as having a clear title with no accident/incident reported, and it isn't shown as a total loss. My guess is that the the owner took the settlement and moved on with their life, and this truck is still languishing in an LAPD impound lot somewhere.
