Some fat redneck who confronted me at the Carlisle Truck Nationals for daring to drive a Toyota with an American flag license plate on the front; He called me a commie and went on a rant about the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor...

 

Yet it was made in either Mexico or Texas..

Did you read the story of the drunk fat guy at the Carlisle show who decided that driving a Toyota with an American flag license plate on the front makes me a communist and confronted me about it?

 

I did, you always manage to seem to find the jackasses in the crowd, lol.

 

In that case the jackass found me; One can only hope that the karma gods will send him a crazy person, in an import truck with an American flag license plate, who kicks his ass!

One thing that annoys me about Carlisle is that until this year it was almost exclusively lifted full-size American trucks that’s easily had $100K or more invested; This year, they made a big push to bring the mini trucks back and so many of them showed up that over 100 had to be turned away!

Tacoma production ended in California when GM filed for bankruptcy as the NUMMI Plant was a GM/Toyota partnership. GM pulled out completely and Toyota shifted Tacoma production to Texas, pretty sure Tesla now uses the old factory. If memory serves me the Dana Corporation makes the frames for our trucks, possible USA and Mexico production.

 

My truck is right around 100K behind you, lol.
