How would you feel if someone crushed your $70K because they were selfish enough to attempt suicide?

Also, if you think that's crazy, this guy I know was driving his 1980s Rolls-Royce in LA; A suicidal man jumped off of an overpass, landed on the car, and did over $100K in damage...

The jumper ended up surviving, but at the cost of spending the rest of his life in a wheelchair!

 

On another note, I think I should buy a couple of these, because kids have already managed to pull stuff off my truck...

It was my neighbor's kid; They didn't damage anything. They pulled a plastic hook off f a plastic chain, which was easily reattached; No harm done

Wearing a mask in itself is not bad, but it is unseasonably warm for early October in Southeast Pennsylvania; This particular Spirit location is in an old Sears Hardware store that has been exclusively used by Spirit Halloween since at least 2016. The space obviously has central A/C, but either the upper management refuses to turn it on or it's not operational at the moment; We have both the front doors open, but it is very stale in here and my mask is getting sweaty. Again...

 

Also, I had a dejavu situation maybe ten minutes ago; I worked at Dunkin Donuts for a less than a month back in October-November 2013...

That Dunkin Donuts, on Main Street in Doylestown Borough, was located in a shopping center; It shut down probably less than a year after COVID started...

I texted my supervisor that I just couldn't handle the shitty hours and quit without giving two weeks notice; Anyway, one time on a particularly slow day, this sweet lifted Silverado pulled into the parking lot behind the shopping center. I had the Nikon in my truck, and I took some pictures. Unfortunately, my supervisor happened to pull in as I was taking pictures of this truck; He was talking on the phone via Bluetooth in his Camry and I could tell he was arguing and the conversation wasn't going well, so he was in a bad mood before he saw me taking pictures of the truck...

The way he reacted, you'd think I'd skipped out during the lunch rush or something; His bright idea was to force
me to make him some random drink on the spot, at which I totally choked, "incentivize" me by saying that if I didn't improve my performance in a shift or two I would have to work a weekend shift that I'd previously been told I didn't have to work. I quit a short time later...
