I would have to bring up an old satellite image on Google Earth to take a guess at what might have been here, but I'm guessing it was a park...

 

The white Ram belongs to a bunch of people who were out with their dirtbikes and quads...

 

If you look ahead way up the road, you will see a late model black Mazda; At first I thought this was somebody checking their GPS coordinates, or answer a text, or something...

 

Here is the aforementioned black Mazda; It would appear that somebody just parked there and went for a hike...

Just think, where you see that red Kia driving, there were homes and businesses on either side of that road less than 30 years ago!

 

Here, we see that same red Kia driving past the municipal building as it heads North to the village of Aristes...

 

I couldn't tell if this was a house or a commercial property...

 

No idea what was here; Fire hydrant...? Lamp post?!?!

 

It's been at least 6 or 7 years since I've been to Centralia, which was the first "ghost town" I had ever visited in my life. I'm definitely enjoying the pictures, as I can't seem to find any of mine. I had driven down some streets and driveways, and of course checked out the old graffiti highway when I was there, but you've spent a great deal more time exploring. It may be a dump now, but the history of it is cool. I totally get the fascination.
