Wheels were Keebler pinwheels I think. My daughter drew the plate on fondant with edible ink.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Charlie I applaud your friend for making this happen for you. I am sure that was a lot tougher than it looks. Making all those single dabs of frosting cannot be easy and he made them all uniform and pretty much identical. If I had attempted this you would have got a failed attempt and a ho ho! You contribute a lot to this community and we are happy to have you around my friend. Keep having a great outlook on life and have a wonderful year.

This is totally random, but edible ink made me think of something; I'm guessing since you have kids, Disney is a part of your life. My favorite Disney movie in the early 1990s was 101 Dalmatians; The movie was made in 1961, but according what I've read online, it was first released on VHS in April 1992. I would have just turned 3 years old, and this was right about the time when I first started realizing what movies were; I watched this tape constantly, and sometime prior to 1994, it just failed completely. I had just put it in the VCR and was near the beginning where Roger is walking Pongo in the park. The tape snapped and the screen went blank. I was only 4 years old or so and threw a fit; This was obviously before Amazon and it was not possible to buy out-of-circulation Disney films on demand. Money was not the issue, but rather that Disney released films on VHS in limited quantitues and then put them back in "The Vault" for up to a decade. I had to settle for renting 101 Dalmatians at the local video store (Remember those?) whenever I wanted to watch it, which is something that my parents were happy to indulge.

Unbeknownst to me back in 1992-1993, Disney's 1961 film 101 Dalmatians was based on a 1956 novel by Dodie Smith entitled The Hundred And One Dalmatians; The Cruella De Vil from the novel is slightly different from the animated Cruella pretty anyone born in the last 70 years or so grew up with, but in the novel, Cruella is said to have been expelled from school as a child for drinking ink...

This is what "edible ink" made me think of, though obviously the stuff that a certain psychotic fur-obsessed British socialite drank as a child wasn't edible...

Yup random! I have a few years on you and we had home movies on 8mm film. I got proficient at splicing and brought that skill forward into 8 tracks, cassettes, vhs. My dad worked for Warner Brothers on a project during the invention of CDs. Now we have to stream everything. Hopefully you can or do have kids. They keep us young and healthy eating cake!
