I still like that “MyPod”.
I’ve got family in Los Angels and I’m in Tennessee.
I’ve kind of always wanted to do a cross country trip.
I can sleep in about anything. And that thing would be much easier to pull.

I probably never do it. But if I did, that would be an option.
Just not sure it’s the best option @ $17k.

 

Might want to get an alarm system for the MyPod and keep a gun under your pillow if you're going to Los Angeles!

No, they live in the better part of L.A.
I flew out there once to visit. Apparently, my accent was a bit of an attraction.
Almost everyone asked me with in first minute of talking to them “Where are you from?”
If I said, Tennessee. The next question wash “Nashville.”. Which I responded to every time with, “Hell, No. I wouldn’t live in Nashville”. And I wouldn’t either. I’m not kidding.

2021 RAV4 XLE AWD as a rental...

 

How do you like the Rav?

 

I am kinda disapppointed that I didn't wait two weeks to go back up to Centralia (I went on March 6th); The RAV has a bunch of off-road settings that probably would have been great fun on the trails around there, plus it's a rental on which I purchased a collision damage waiver!

Seriously though, it's a Toyota; It's very well-built, very responsive, and definitely fun to drive. It averages about 25 MPG, which is a big improvement over my truck; My Tacoma has an expensive custom-built stereo system with a subwoofer and external amp, so the factory sound system in the RAV4 can't hold a candle to what my truck has, but that is my only real grievance. However, if it were my vehicle and not a rental, speakers can be easily replaced without voiding the factory warranty!

 

Let's try this again and see if we can get the remainder of the RV show pics uploaded; The pics were unloading unbelievably slow last night...

If I hit the lottery, I would buy one of these, and pull my truck behind it; I've got family in California, New York, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. I've also got friends all over the country, including you and @ColoradoTJ. I would "camp" at various places for two days to a week, and I would park the van and use the Tacoma to get around locally.

 

Heck yeah, that would be a beast to do some road trips in, looks like it would go just about anywhere. Was it diesel or gas powered?
