This one on the left fender is working just fine despite its rough appearance, and I only have one replacement light, so I just cleaned it up as best I could...

My last week of being a PA Resident l also got a ticket for 43 in a 25, the Cop had 5 of us pulled over at once and wrote the wrong color car on my ticket. I ended up paying the fine instead of fighting because it would have been too much of pain to fight as l was in the process of moving.

My car was dark blue and the Cop wrote silver on my ticket, l would think in court you could say to the judge that the coo confused me with someone else.

I thought you bought the Mustang in PA before you moved to OH? Anyway, there was an episode of COPS where the police ran the license plate on a fox body Mustang, and the plate came back to a blue Mustang despite being on a red one or something. It is fairly common to take plates from one vehicle and put them on a similar vehicle from what I've heard, just to drive it from one place or another, and understandably the officers in that episode thought that this was the case or that the car might be stolen.

My uncle built a 1967 Shelby Cobra replica and it took a bit longer than usual to get a title for it here in PA; He just couldn't wait to drive it, and he happened to have the still-valid antique tag for a 1967 Corvette that he had long since sold. He put this tag on the Cobra and took it out for a drive without insurance, since he couldn't get insurance due to not having a title. He was giving friends rides in the car in some small Lehigh Valley town, and doing burnouts and donuts. A local cop just followed the sound of squealing tires and pulled my uncle over. My uncle almost got arrested, but one of his friends who was a cop from a nearby jurisdiction got him out of it without his car getting impounded or even getting a ticket.

That said, the cop who pulled you over should have checked the VIN on the Golf!

    @shakerhood

My uncle started building the Cobra in like 2005 and had it on the road before 2007. Unfortunately, he and my aunt separated while he was still building the car and ended up divorcing. He ultimately ended up having to sell the car as part of the divorce proceedings. This picture was taken in April 2008, and is the one and only time that I ever got to ride in the Cobra before my uncle sold it. My uncle is behind the wheel and my dad is leaning against the truck; I did not have a driver's license yet, but I don't think my uncle would have let me drive it even if I did have one. This is the same uncle who taught me to drive stick in his 1991 Toyota pickup in August 2014, but obviously an old pickup is a lot more forgiving to drive than a Cobra!

I’ve not had a speeding ticket yet.
I’ve been pulled over 3x. But never for speeding (yet).

Once for running a stop sign at a 3 way stop.
The police officer was laughing when he walked up to the window.
He said, “He would give me a ticket if he thought I knew the stop sign was there. But I never hit my brakes or slowed down.” He told to remember it was there next time. Nice guy

2nd time was for violating the move over law. Here in Tn. You are supposed to move over one lane for a and emergency/police vehicle if they have some one pulled over on the shoulder of the road. I needed to get off my exit, moving over would have caused me to miss the exit. I didn’t move over, and got pulled over. To make a long story short, I was driving some else’s vehicle. I got ticket for failure to provide proof of insurance. I faxed a copy the next day, and it never went on my record or cost me anything.

I’ll make a separate post for #3 later. Because it’s definitely a “story”.

And maybe, if I feel like it, I can tell you about the time I had to turn myself in at the jailhouse for vandalizing a hotel.
I didn’t vandalize any hotel. Lol

Yes, but not necessarily by the police. A “witness” said I did it.
The police officer just didn’t handle it properly.
The Sheriff himself called me to apologize on behalf of the department.
I will post about it later.

No l didnt buy the Mustang until l was in Ohio, but l think l know what you might be confusing. You probably remembered me telling you the Original Owner while being an Ohio Resident, travelled to Pittsburgh to buy it.

Didn't work here, the cop who pulled my friend over in 1998 wrote up his 79 GMC truck as a 97 silver and it was black/brown/grey.

Nor did it matter that my dark green Camaro was written up as yellow. Makes you wonder if they read the colours that way if they can read the radar correct.

It is over 90 degrees right now; I just saw this well-worn four-eyes that seems to have working A/C (the windows are up)!
