I would have told that lady she could climb in the dumpster and get the water bottle out.
Then she could could throw it back in there, that way we know for sure “I” wasn’t illegally dumping.

I’ve had my run-ins with the trash police. And I’ve pressed my luck a few times.
But I have never crawled into a dumpster, and I’m not going to.

 

Neighbor lady of mine, great person, holds 4 world records in women's power-lifting and and even more US records in her age/weight class. Still looks very feminine and if you didn't know this you would never suspect. Her husband was helping me move 2 pretty heavy and awkward pieces of furniture and she offered to take one end so he and I could both carry it from the other side. We both declined swearing we'd blow out a testicle before handing it off to a woman but in reality we should have just left her carry the damned stuff. I would not want to make her angry.

 

In retrospect whole situation could have been solved by just showing her the last text messages from your boss explicitly telling you to do what you were doing. Of course hindsight is always 20/20.

 

Maybe it wouldn't have cost me my job, but it was different than if some random person had done that to me; I'm an embittered hothead at times, but I'm also more cognizant than people give me credit for.

 

I told my boss and she actually apologized; I'm pretty sure a conversation took place about why it was a bad idea to grab Puck's one and only autistic barback in the way that she did.

My boss, who I am still very close with and consider one of my best friends, is not autistic. However, she does not like just anybody touching her and sympathizes with me a lot in that respect.

 

I fired up the truck this morning and it had absolutely no trouble starting, but the damn battery light is on again...

 

So, I hooked the battery tender back up...

 

And it went out...

 

And now it's fully charged...

My latest impulse buy, and I'm gonna be playing it a lot because my dad tested positive for COVID; I have so far tested negative but I can't go to work for ten days due to company policy...

 

Actually, I can return to work after five days, but I would be required to wear a mask for another five days; I refuse to wear a mask anymore, so there ya go...

 

Dude, way ahead of you there. The alternator is definitely shot; Pete just can't install the new one until tomorrow...

 

I had a good friend who’s girlfriend beat the shit out of him with a toaster.
I don’t condone violence towards anyone, but I’m sure the not going to stand there and let anyone (even a woman) beat me with a toaster. Not only that, once he left HIS house to get away from her, she destroyed his house. TV, lamps, dishes, pictures, clothes, shoes and all.

The police took her to jail. And wouldn’t you know, he bailed her out the next morning.
I mean the guy had basically no family, and had just been diagnosed with cancer.
He later told me he bailed her out because he “Loved her and didn’t want to be alone”.
Well, he finally died. But I’ll give the girl credit. She was right there by his side until his last breather. But damn.

 

Okay, I'm pissed; I preordered this game almost a week ago so that it would arrive at my house on release day (August 23rd). It's the "Day One Edition", so it's supposed to come with some exclusive content, which I downloaded. The game will make it to 1.885 GB and then an error message will come on; I did some research and found that a lot of people are having issues with the disc-based version of the game and DLC.

I paid another $60 (plus tax) to download the game on the PlayStation Store, and it is working great...



I would normally return the game and get a refund, but I'm gonna hand it off to my friend Mike and let him try it in his PS4...
