More than half of my undercoating has already peeled off because the surface was not prepped properly prior to spraying.

Hard to imagine the undercoating did me any favors if the surface was not prepped.

People seem to prefer walking between my truck and that post even though there is plenty of space on the other side to walk. I have a feeling this might have something to do with the mysterious dents and scratches in the side of my truck...

Well, this is what I call a "Hard NO," to people who are too lazy to walk around the other way!

    Here's a thought...

I've started saving money to buy a house...

People have been buying gutted commercial jetliner airframes and converting them into homes for years (I've seen Boeing 707s, 727s, 747s; and other manufacturers), and I have seen gutted 747 airframes listed at anywhere from $100K to $300K. From what I've seen, you don't have to be filthy rich to have one transported to your property and converted for residential living, either...

Some examples of Boeing 727s turned into houses:

Does "everything" include A/C, heat, and stereo?

Also, it's ironic how you were saying the new Explorer SUVs are very problematic...

Today I saw an unmarked 5th Gen Explorer parked at a transmission shop in Doylestown...

:rofl:Why do they need 707 horses for vice work? Unless they're infiltrating the street racing scene...?

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas :burnrubber:Gotta look the part too, remember, people like spending money here.
@dfulks posted about XJ's, Explorer stands, especially AWD, which is what Metro is phasing in, and phasing out Vics as street vehicles.
Better have o_O SHO or pretty much any Caprice, new or old, is awesome, expect new Caprice is just an SS with Caprice badging, which in that case the SS is just Holden's throw away GM picked up and sold to an unsuspecting crowd. If I have time and money, I will manual swap an SS one day. Australians have the good stuff.

I saw a 1994-1996 Impala SS on eBay with a factory-installed 6-speed manual transmission. Apparently it was a 1-of-1 concept vehicle, except it had a legit title (though salvage due to it being a concept vehicle), and it was street legal!

@Hobbs posted this in another thread of mine...

They have cooler police vehicles in Costa Rica than they do in the United States!

Lol, I'm talking about Chevy SS, not factory modified standard SS variants. 4 door, v8, RWD, full size sedan, that I want to transplant a solid 6spd into. I believe there were a few manuals, but most have auto. TMK, GM is stopping production of them, which means I'll be buying used.

Back in 1968, we were driving my dad's '67 Olds Toronado on I-80 outside of Fernley Nevada headed to Reno. There was no speed limit on the open road there, so dad put the pedal to the floor to see what the Olds would do. We got to about 125 mph when a Nevada State Trooper in a Plymouth Fury pulled up next to us. He looked over, nodded, and then pulled away from us like we were standing still. Always wondered what that Plymouth had under the hood.
